Kinsler is a .270 ish career hitter, I believe. Unfortunately, he is now a .230 ish hitter the past 1 1/2 seasons. His defense is great. But he hits for s*** now.

I agree. All these alternate unis are about one thing. Making more money. I look forward to seeing the white home unis. It's like walking up into the right field bowl and seeing all that green. I like the aesthetics of the game. Teams like the Padres can do the ugly uni bit. They have no established traditions to uphold.

Bitch bitch bitch. To read the past two pages ( as I did ) one could get the idea that the Sox lost this game because the pen is s*** and we are f***ed come playoff time because of it. I am not worried about our pen. I am not worried about the Sox at all ( aside from Sale's inflamed bursa sack ). Lighten-up and enjoy the ride. Jeepers.

Yup. It's cool to see the other league. And since the Sox seem to gorge on NL teams it feeds my ego about the AL being superior. Not that I know that the AL is that.

f***in' Lindor is way good. I like Bogey on my team. I would not complain if Lindor was here and Bogey was moved to 3rd or 1st eventually.

Fast balls do not rise. Really high fastballs remain a little higher as they past the zone because their trajectory ( altitude, really ) does not have as much time to decay from gravity. All this can be modeled and proven by anyone who understands the physics involved.

I don't know about that. The best pitching will almost always prevail. I would like to see Sale face the Sox lineup. That would be interesting.
