    Ahhh. Yeah he was fun to watch. Too bad he got all f***ed up with injuries.

    His biggest attribute appears to be hand-eye coordination and the resulting bat speed. I don't know that any lingering residue of a PED would be responsible for this current display with the bat. I don't know what he took and how long he took it. I assume that he has been "clean" since he got suspended. With steroid usage of sufficient duration, we can see increase in musculature, possible gaped teeth, and possible pronounced forehead. I don't see any of that with Chavis. f*** the enigma. I think it's naive to believe that he is the guilty exception when most young players will probably take almost anything to help their chances of getting to the show. He was just dumb enough and/or unlucky enough to get caught. I think the kid is kind or a pretentious puke but I want him playing in Boston every day until he hits a wall and does not adjust. Then hand him a bus ticket to Pawtucket.

    Earlier in this season I surmised that Devers had made improvement in his defense. Now I see costly errors and I question my judgement. It may sound like a cop-out but he is still quite young at 22.

    The tax hit would be prohibitive but our favorite bust is hitting .282 with a .350 obp so far in Pawtucket this year. Bryce Brentz is tearing it up! Hitting .146 with a .262 obp. Outf***ingstanding.

    He should be. But look at that body! He looks like a shorter version of Prince Fielder with golden locks. He needs to work with a nutritional expert or something.

    He was a shortsop and occasional 3rd baseman in HS. The Sox f***ed up his natural progression at those positions by forcing the conversion to catcher. Why was he seen as one of the nation's finest HS talents if he could not field his position or hit?

    In my opinion he proved that he could hit well enough to stick ( pun not intended ) in the second half of 2015. Kind of difficult to establish consistency at the plate when you have only a handful of ABs each week. Unfortunately, he is confronted with the same scenario in Arizona. Too bad.

    It's restgate. None of the starters got the normal amount of work (starts) from what Cora has said. If it was Leongate Sandi would be on the roster. He is a 45 minute drive away. Of course he is hitting well under Mendoza. I could live with that if he could fix this shitshow we are seeing now.

    Aside form throwing the ball into center field on a steal attempt, Swihart looked pretty good with 3 hits, a dinger, and a couple of runs scored. But they should have released him cause he can't hit and he sucks.

    At least you got sour krout. A better quality mustard would have been preferable and certainly a better metering of the mustard would have enhanced it's visual appeal. I'd eat the f***ing thing.

    That is one of the best things one can say about any athlete that plays in this town. Sale "gets it".

    I see no reason that Leon would accept a demotion to MiLB. If they release/designate him he would still have to be paid. Even if he chose to go home.
