  1. I think Leon is a better catcher than Vasquez.
  2. Some big name hitters have stated that it is far easier to talk about hitting to left against the shift than to actually do it. It seems that pitchers do not like to cooperate.
  3. Jason Werth says that stat nerds are killing the game. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/24329670/jayson-werth-rails-super-nerds-killing-game
  4. So what magic will no occur that will transform Pom into a useful pen arm? "Oh, he was a reliever before so he will be good this time too".
  5. This team would be winning with Salti behind the plate. Maybe not as many games. But they would be winning a lot of them.
  6. Velcro would be a key feature. The standard Panda Power Belt would be pretty normal. But step up and pay $239. ( plus handling fees that bring the total up to about $320. ) and you will get several key features. The upgrade will have a built-in WiFi Hot Spot with booster and auxiliary battery pack for those solo sessions in public stalls. No need to worry about signal strength in a steel stall surrounded by ceramic tile and re-bar reinforced concrete! This belt comes with an endorsement from at least one MLB player and it has been "battle tested" in MLB stadiums.
  7. I'm still waiting to receive my panda hat from Amazon! That fat f*** is on the DL again, this time for the rest of the season. And the Sox keep paying for his time off! I do wonder why his agent has not secured for him a massive belt endorsement deal. It would have seemed obvious. No need to go on Shark Tank, just self fund and book a bunch of info-mercials for the Panda Power Belt! What a wasted opportunity.
  8. I agree, of course. It is a massive misappropriation of funds. Just stupid. I'm down with 3 years max. I still say 15-17 mil/yr CAN get it done.
  9. Maybe he has learned how to make crepes.
  10. I like them both. Great D but inconsistent ( being kind ) bats.
  11. The purple one was my fav. She even had cleavage in that one.
  12. That is your opinion.
  13. And if not, there is always a chance you can get a gig making coffee in Toronto.
  14. No. I am of the opinion that he can be had for 3 years and approximately 45 mil or so. If not, let him walk and take the pick.
  15. a boom!
  16. I have no problem with Gomes at all. Beats the s*** out of Mendoza and her ilk.
  17. Off season work out of Cool Hand Luke.
  18. How the hell did you guys make over 500 posts? It's not even the playoffs!
  19. Wow. That game was a f***ing bore. Then... Bye bye Marcus. Hello win column.
  20. Robot umps would solve the problem. And your argument is weak as water.
  21. Over the weekend we had OB, Remy, and Eck in the booth at the same time. The first time was f***ing hysterical. It could only have been more fun if Orsilo had been there. Remy has been a huge part of my baseball enjoyment for decades. I don't like to think about games without him. I hope for the best for him.
  22. Lol. This is easily my favorite Yankee FA signing. The gift that keeps on breaking.
