  1. That's the Guy!!! Did he stick with Baltimore? Is that where he went?
  2. The Celts are going nowhere this season. They don't have the athleticism (legs) to stay with younger more athletic players on the perimeter. With the exception of Allen and Rhondo. Wallace is almost a complete bust. He has no ability or desire to play a low post game choosing in favor to stay outside and bomb away at 25%. I'm glad 2007 happened. It looks like it will be another 2 decades before we see another banner in Boston. I miss Leon Powe.
  3. I didn't know Breslow was Jewish. I was thinking of Jonathan Van Every. I Think? Or some other rule 5 signee that played center field.
  4. My point was that there were 3 Jewish players on anaMLB roster at the same time. Which, I believe, is unusual. Also Rosenthal is presumably a Jew. I think it's strange he did not make note of that. BTW, Who were they?
  5. Nomar? He's of what, Mexican/American decent?
  6. I must confess that Boston teams are really racist. Like the Celts with Scal being the only white player. His article was ill-advised. Had it been written in the sixties and even the early seventies, it may have been topical. But No scribe had the balls to do that back then. Another thing Rosenthal fails to point out (I think) is that the Sox had three Jews playing on the team at the same time. I find that an odd omission.
  7. I'm wondering if there are any transsexuals in organized baseball.
  8. It all comes down to which eyelid you breathe with.
  9. LOL. I guess necessity is the mother of invention.
  10. They still suck.
  11. How many gloves does he bring to the mound?
  12. As an objective observer I'd say that whichever it is, I'm sure it is capable of excretory functions. Sexy, no.
  13. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
  14. Lol. One boy, four pencils.
  15. Great. Hey Charlie and friend. Knock it off.
  16. Yup. Most likely.
  17. From what I've read, Bonser was looking very good at the end of the season. I think he my be a dark horse. Also, I think MDC returns to being a very good set-up guy.
  18. On paper it's all good. But things rarely go to plan. Beckett is still a question mark. Lester started slowly but was, for the most part, consistently very good. Dice K is a sushi gobbling piece of s*** that just does not get it. By that, I mean he does not understand the employer/employee relationship. I did not forget Buch. I mentioned him. I expect him to be reasonable productive IF he keeps that bat s*** brain of his in check.
  19. Well I think there are some big question marks. Beckett is one of them. He may be dominant for 10-12 games then get shelled for 6-8. Why? Lester is the stud of the rotation. I have no apprehension about him at all. Lackey will likely do what he does. Dice -K is an enigma. I will never be comfortable with him taking the mound. On his best days he befuddles hitters and goes maybe 6 productive innings. Great. But most of the time he teeters on the abyss. How can anyone be comfortable with that? Buck has to come into camp with his head together and keep it there for 30 starts. We have not seen this from him yet. Wakefield will probably be his normal self. Making hitters look stupid one start, and getting shelled the next. So, no, I'm not as confident about the rotation as some here are.
  20. Am I the only one who is concerned that the Sox rotation may not live up to it's billing?
