lol. ok. I think we are all a little antsy awaiting the start of spring training. All the Boston teams have been sucking pond water. As have the New York team, I think. I want warm weather and the familiar pop of some fastballs meeting a catcher's leather. Then I'll be happy.

Admittedly, I know nothing about the guy. But as Dojji has said, the idea is intriguing. It would be fun to see him advance to the show. And it would be good for baseball.

I think it would be wise for the Sox to have Pedroia spend as much time with Anderson as possible. If 30-50% of what Pedroia says to him is absorbed, Lars will make it to the bigs and contribute. He's just a Bill Walton type without the drive.

As it turns out, Glavin was born in Concord (Emerson Hospital?) and did indeed grow up in Billerica. He played at Billerica Memorial High School.

Isn't Glavine from Billerica? Or do I have him confused with someone else? I guess I'm wrong, Glavine appears to be from Concord. But there is a big time pitcher from Billerica. Who is it?
