    I really don't care either way about how Manny and Theo are compared. Both did stupid things in the public eye. However, it should be noted that Theo was in a position of authority. He was a manager within the organization. Wearing the gorilla suit was unseemly and unprofessional. That kind of behavior was and remains unacceptable for a man in his position. I don't condone anything that Manny did either. But he was a minion while Theo was a leader. In the real world that makes a difference.

    I am wondering how the Sox could rationalize trading Moncada at this point. I am no expert on how these contracts work, but didn't the Sox just pay him a $30. mil bonus? Have they paid it in it's entirety or are installments being made? Either way, trading him would be like flushing all that money away. And what of the penalties the Sox paid for signing Moncada? Trading him away after dropping $60.mil on him would seem really, really stupid. But what the f*** do I know?

    I just keep getting back to what Jacko said. His Pec was responsible for halting the throwing motion. Watching Koji throw it look like many if not most of his pitches are max effort. Pretty violent for a guy with a slight build. Maybe the use of that muscle just maxed out and said "f*** it. I ain't doin' this no more". It was just time for it to happen. Yes, it could have happened in his next outing weather closing or not. Or, it could have happened at anytime afterwards.

    Jeez I assumed that he had outfield experience from what I had read. Starting him in rf in Fenway makes little sense unless he has a huge f***ing bat.
