  1. I watch all the games and hope that they win their share. This season is better than the last two. They are still in it. For now anyways.
  2. I agree. But people here ask questions like "What if we offer Moncada +++ for Sale." Is no one considering that would sink $60. mil.?
  3. This is a .500 team. It wreaks of failure right now. Pomerantz is a f***ing dud, it appears. Kelly in to work even more magic. Lovely. The Sox could be in 4th place the first week in August.
  4. Last week I asked how the Sox could consider trading a $60. mil investment ( Moncada ). I guess that I am the only one who questions the feasibility of such a trade.
  5. It sounds like a decent interim step. But it does nothing to cure the problem and probably just forestall the inevitable.
  6. So you live in the DR?
  7. It was pretty close. That's baseball. If the Sox had provided more run support I doubt we would be talking about it now. Weaver used to be pretty good. Last night he was better than his stats would have predicted.
  8. Mike Andrews was the second baseman when I started to follow the Sox. Griffin was next, I think. He was skinny as a rail. Sorry he croaked.
  9. I am against limiting pitching changes. Implement the 20 second pitching clock like in MiLB.
  10. The ball was fielded by Hanley and thrown immediately to home ( sort of! ). It was bang - bang. No time for the pitcher to get in position behind the plate.
  11. I'd be happy just to see him do his job as a closer.
  12. Ziegler got two quick outs. Miggie steps in and instantly my brain tells my mouth to say "Walk him". I had no idea Miggie was death for Ziegler, either. The pitch was about as cherry as any grooved pitch could be. Literally right down the middle. Who made the decision to challenge Miggie?
  13. Lol. Did you see him play in Pawtucket?
  14. Again, the new guys here missed your excellent explanation about batting order and it's affects of production. It's too bad we don't have a pinned thread where conversations like that one could be posted for posterior. That way we could always refer back to it to refute counter ideas.
  15. Bottom of the 9th. Time to cowboy up.
  16. Of course the big penisies here will counter my opinion with stats that will indicate otherwise, But yes. They both suck pond water. This is a great country though. Show promise, sign a big contract, then just suck.
