    Maybe so but his FB is a thing of the past with no evidence of it returning anytime soon. I do understand why the Sox won't quit on the guy easily. But there comes a point when even dumb people see obvious things clearly. Well, except for trump cultists.

    The Sox drafts since 2014 ( I believe ) have been non-productive other than Benni. Yeah, DD sold our prospects for winning now. The pipeline has not produced anything of substance ( other than Benni ).

    Many years ago I used to sit in the RF grandstands by choice. I would pay $1.00 to enter the bleachers. Then after the 3rd inning, the gate would open and if you paid another $.75 you could pass into the grandstand and sit anywhere in the park that was unoccupied. The grandstands were generally not further that the bleachers from the action ( depending on how low you sat ) and most of them kept you out of the Sun and rain. As long as you were not stuck behind a pole the views were for the most part unobstructed. I loved it out there.

    This sound like a very good idea. A 15-18 year old body is far from mature. Too much repetition on all that young tissue can and does do harm.

    Oh my f***ing Gawd you did not just say that! Here I was laboring under the notion that we had at least one expert on framing, blocking, handling pitchers , and dealing with base runners. I am so disappoint.

    Mom told me that he was primarily a SS. I have no doubt that he could learn to be a 2nd baseman if his ankle is healthy. He has quick feet, speed, quick hands, and a strong arm. But with Vasquez out he will be playing 20-40% of games at catcher, I would think. Who the f*** knows what Cora will do?
