I fully agree with you. My comment was not a recommendation to wait until next year ( if a worthwhile , cost effective , and controlled 2nd baseman is available grab him ) I was only speculating what the Sox are likely to do. I wan't him to retire but I bet he gives it a try in the spring.

Plus Koji was so fun to watch. He had that intense look. Or maybe a blank stare. And then he made batters look pretty foolish with pitches that never seemed to eclipse 88 mph. Then when the game ended we all got to see that huge smile of his and the joy that he felt. He was just fun.

I agree with you. And I don't think the Sox will replace Pedroia until he retires or fails to play well in Spring Training 2019. To pay the second tier taxes and penalties for a 2nd baseman now would be dumb. I think Holt will do okay for now.

Yeah I don't cheer when a player gets injured. And I too would like to beat the Yankees when both teams are at or near to full strength. Still, my heart pumps piss for the Yankees and their obnoxious fans. By the way, I don't believe Talksox Yankees fans are obnoxious.
