  1. And why has he done so poorly in a contract year of all times? Before his offensive woes I would have put money on him signing with the Yankees for 2019. Now, I bet he returns to DC on a shorter contract.
  2. Yup. Have to wonder about where this leave Holt. Maybe going back to a part time roll will allow him to finish the season in a productive fashion. Then again, he could struggle with not having enough at bats. Kinsler is in decline since 2016. He is now a .230+ hitter with a meh OBP and some pop. I hope that he fits in in the clubhouse. You never know. I don't want anything f***ing with this team. I bet he is pumped about playing for a WS contender. He had better be!
  3. Major lulz.
  4. I will repeat: "Blake Swihart has done absolutely nothing to justify his roster spot."
  5. This is much like a playoff game. Great pitching and a few exciting plays thrown in to spice it up.
  6. I agree. But that was not going to happen.
  7. Thanks Bob. That's okay for most hitters. Not for the guy that starts our offense.
  8. This is Kimmi's kind of game. Most of the time I find such games boring. Not this one. Some good action and exciting moments. Funny how people were s***ing on Price early in the game and now it seems people are singing his praise. I wonder how long Cora will stick with him? Probably the 7 run rule.
  9. A week or so I noted that Mookie had been striking out a lot and that his BA was going down. Predictably I was chastised for being critical of Mr. All World. Well, it is about 2 weeks since I started to notice his "slide". He started at .362 and is now at .343. Sure seems that for someone known for not striking out, he is striking out regularly. I wonder why?
  10. Hahahahahahaha!1!1! God that was stupid base running.
  11. Good stuff Dojji.
  12. He does look like a used car sales manager.
  13. With a sore surgically repaired knee??????????? Lovely. Sounds like something Farrell would do.
  14. Hahahahahahahaha!1!1
  15. At the same time, every year we see Doug Flutie sitting near the Pesky Poll with his baseball glove.
  16. With Swi pulled for a defensive replacement, who on the 25 man is the back-up catcher?
  17. "Swihart has done absolutely nothing to justify his roster position."
  18. That's what I was thinking. Not sure how I feel about that. My guess is that he remains in Washington.
  19. I agree. I have been watching since Jose Tartebul. JBJ is the best defensive CF I have seen play for the Sox.
  20. Hmm. Where does he play?
  21. We all do it!
  22. And he hustles down the line.
