He is knowledgeable but is the biggest f***ing geek in the stadium. Think John Oliver without any sense of humor. The kid in the class everyone wants to sucker punch or trip. -

I don't have a life, either. As I have said before, I would like to help moderate if you see a need at some point. -
I have no worries that Rutledge can fill in adequately at 2nd. He plays 2nd as well as most players and he has a good hit tool. I would prefer a healthy Pedroia, though. Merrero is fine at 3rd. He is the best glove in that infield now. And we have seen a recent six game hitting streak where he has brought his OBP up to a blistering .245 or so. There is hope!

Slash I'm not going to defend him in the "not me" affair. That whole thing was stupid and he came off as a dick, I guess. But how in the world can you blame him for what happened yesterday at 1st base? He did not design that play. He reacted the only way he could. It happened because a AAAA scrub pitcher did not get to the bag in time for a throw by his 1st baseman. Abreu reacted instinctively by sliding into the bag. It was dumb and unfortunate. How can you put any blame on Pedroia for that? He had no options. He tumbled over a big object and hurt his hand landing hard. Not his fault at all. s*** happens.

I dread him toeing the rubber. But that is because he was warm dog s*** last year. He left an indelible impression on many of us. This year he has not been THAT pitcher. It's true. Today he sucked donkey dicks again. That is what you get with relief pitchers.

My guess is that Holt is done. Which sucks big time. I know he was not a world beater at any position but he was a gem for this team if you look at things objectively. He allowed greater flexibility on the 25 man and that rarely happens. Now we have three guys to replace him. Think about that.

He does not electric stuff. He is just commanding a sub 90 FB and a wicked curve. It's f***ed up! Hope he gets the shutout and complete game.

I don't know what to say about what Johnson has done today. We all know that he has had potential all along. He has had some setbacks. Maybe this is just a career day for him or maybe, just maybe, he could be ready for a diet of MLB hitters. I hope he leaves the game with a shutout.
