I don't see either of our catchers as a black hole. Vasquez shows signs of improvement at the plate from what I can see. Leon is not the hitter that he showed us in his 2016 streak but is at least decent. Combined with very good defense these two are pretty good.

Who can disagree with that? If they are ready and able to contribute ( and a roster spot or need exists ) bring them up.

A700 is entitled to his opinion. I see no problem with how he views Bennie Boy. The guy made some really dumb ass moves during his tenure post-Theo. Yes he did do some good. And several here bag lap him for it. Bag lapping is no more appropriate than disparaging him. I can't see how anyone would get their panties in a bunch over the topic.

Yes. And to add to what you have said there is absolutely no reason why you should have to tolerate last place finishes at all ( except in the most extreme of circumstances ) with the money in this organization. This team should be at the very least competitive most if not every year. I doubt very much if the Sox finish first, proceed through the post season and then lose in game 7 or the series to a great team in a close game that you will be pissed Or even if the Sox play well all season but just fall short in a tight race. You will be disappointed for sure. But you won't be doing much complaining.

So typing "F" or using a pseudonym for a swear word is not profane? It is read and interpreted as the swear word. I find it interesting that a person believes that they can type or say a word that intends to convey a profane word but in their mind they have not "cussed". Maybe some people will be offended by the replacement word anyway? Seems likely to me if what you say is true. Now if I say "oh darn" I mean to say oh darn. Or maybe even oh damn. If I say "F you Farrell" it just means F him, not f*** him. What of the word "suck"? People use that quite liberally here and elsewhere in society. "Barnes you suck". What does that actually mean? It means he sucks dick. I guess we are comfortable with the image of oral sex yet prudish when it comes to the act that involves penetration. Personally I have no problem with either act. Nor do I have a problem with either word. I do have a problem with hypocrisy and pretension.

I am happy for Fister. I cringed when that 2 run shot was hit. Never the less he had it tonight. He made the Cleveland lineup his bitch. I hope the fix that they made on his landing foot location sticks. Johnny Neuron says it enables Fister to have the big hook and more drop on his sinker. It would be a Godsend if he can replicate tonight's performance. Especially since ERod and Price are question marks. Got to love what we see from Devers. I hope he does not gain any more weight. Nunez is kind of scary with the glove but that boy can swat and run. It is indeed only one game but it sure feels good to say positive things about this team. I hope that they can go on a run and secure a playoff spot.
