    I think he's had more clutch hits (especially come from behind HR's) than many teams.

    I hate hockey 99% of the time, but in a rivalry game, and in a playoff series it's epic. Especially overtimes. Otherwise, yeah, it's the 4th sport at best.

    My point about luck wasn't so much about the Yankees playing above their level (according to peripherals), but it was that the Yankees were lucky that players such as Overbay, Hafner, Wells (outcasts from other teams way past their primes) are hitting like they are in their primes again. Obviously the Yankees have been unlucky enough to have to rely on those players, but they are lucky they aren't buried in the division, let alone leading it.

    Gah. Rays had the bases loaded 1 out in the 10th against Nova and Loney strikes out and Joyce grounds out. Rays should have won this game multiple times already.

    Yankees228 is the cool yankee fan. He's the good one. I just find it weird how Claiborne had the same ERA and WHIP going into his outing, pitched 2 innings, and still has the same ERA as his WHIP.

    The Yankees are lucky to be only down 3-1 because that would have been worse.

    I think that's the first time I've ever had something sigged where I wasn't trying to be perverted or funny.

    It was called savedbythebellhorn.com I think. A bunch of them flooded this site for a while a few years ago. It got out of hand. Although it wasn't as out of hand as when the site was invaded by Brits when John Henry bought Liverpool.

    While Dempster has had a bad couple of starts recently, Doubront has had a couple of decent starts recently, so hopefully that continues so we can end the series on a high note.

    Question is who gets the 9th? Bailey has had more rest than Tazawa. It's also (at the moment) a 3 run lead. Edit: I didn't see that Tazawa pitched the 8th. Nevermind.
