    In lieu of the gold in the bobsled and the guaranteed medal in hockey, the US will have the record for most medals in Winter Olympic History. They currently have 36 which is tied with Germany's Salt Lake City effort.

    New Jersey might get their 6th win against their 5th team, leading 65-52 on the road vs. the Celtics.

    Of course, I'd always watch big games, especially when a ranked team is about to get upset. I love watching those games. And I know what you're talking about, I just think that Kentucky would have lost anyway so there's no use getting upset about it. (Pun intended). Kentucky will be fine. I wish my team only had 2 losses. Regardless of how many times they deserved to lose.

    Relax, it's not like it's the first game that Kentucky deserved to lose. Surprisingly it's only their second loss. Kentucky is still in very good shape and this loss may piss them off enough that they go on a tear in the tournament. Who knows?

    Does anyone else hate how they say "Penalty to blank" when it's really against them? They said "Penalty to Finland" and I thought that the US committed a penalty, when it was really a penalty AGAINST Finland.

    It depends. You're clearly referring to test cricket, but there are plenty of one-day matches dependent on the number of overs. They put in one-day cricket for people with short attention spans. A lot of international tournaments are in the one-day method, which typically is 20/20, 30/30, or 40/40, which games aren't that much longer than baseball.

    Keep in mind that Josh Howard tore his ACL 4 games after the trade, so I think my point gains more poignancy, however, your last line is the entire point. That is why we are debating it. It isn't an exact science, but you have to do the best you can to make the best guess. I'd take New Jersey even with a healthy Josh Howard, but the injury ices the cake. However one can still make a respectable argument for Washington, at least with Josh Howard.

    For the record, the Pats do have a potentially nice draft coming up. They have the 22nd pick in the first round, but they also have the Jaguars (damn) and Titans 2nd round picks in addition to their own, which are the 44th, 48th, and 53rd picks overall. There are also plenty of teams trying to trade down, so who knows how those picks will develop, but this should be a good draft for New England.

    Yeah, I also wanted Russia to win because I'd rather have Russia still in the tournament than the pissed off Canadians. I fear the Russians less.

    I'm not sure who I want to win. On a purely country basis I'd root for Canada, but there's something about Canada losing in it's own sport in it's home country that intrigues me.
