    Just the fact that we are talking about Joe West right now means that he's winning.

    For the record, there should be a middle option. Of the two current options, I voted for the positive one, but I would have taken the middle ground if there was one.

    I'm not saying that it isn't a fair deal. I think it's the best offer that you've ever given me. While I think it's a fair deal, I believe that the help in stolen bases isn't worth the imbalance to my roster. What I mean is, that if Danks and Victorino played the same position, that it would be a good deal. However, I have 5 good outfielders as it is, so I can't take on Victorino without giving up an outfielder. And my outfielders are too good to release, so I'd have to find a trade for an outfielder before I could trade for Victorino. In addition, Danks would be more expendable if Jair Jurrjens wasn't injured. Huston Street is taking up my DL spot as it is. That way, I'd have Greinke, Jimenez and Jurrjens doing well which would make Danks more expendable. I'd personally rather have Danks than Victorino, but I like Victorino and I have him in my other league. I think that it's a fair deal talent wise, but roster wise it isn't a good deal for me.

    On another note, I'm looking for speed. Everyone is available, although I'm not interested in Podsednik and I don't want to trade Danks for Victorino.

    And the Phillies got shutout twice by Dice-K and Wakefield. Something like 33 scoreless innings against the opponents starter.

    I think that Dice-K and Papelbon pitch much better when the bases are loaded than when nobody's on.

    I agree, Perkins deserves his reputation. I was jumping at the chance to rip on Reddick. Also I'm not a Celtics fan and I know that the Celtics just plain lost the last game.

    Of course they do not have the same reputation. JJ Reddick is a pretty boy white kid from Duke. He'd be Kendrick Perkin's b**** in prison.

    You might be able to get Dan Haren at a discount, although good luck trying to reach Johnsonville Brats.

    Joe West is still well behind Tim McClelland in terms of umpires that I hate the most. He's been umpiring the last few Sox games that I've been to and whenever they announce his name a bunch of us boo loudly.

    I'd love to see a bunch of pissed off White Sox fans at the game harrassing Joe the entire time. Maybe having a sign that mentions the balk calls.

    I just saw the footage and I think that the first technical was absolutely unexcusable and should be rescinded. I can understand the 2nd technical though. While I think that it's hypocritical to call the 2nd technical based on earlier play in the series, I can still understand why Perkins was called for it. With that said, it's a moot point since the first technical was so ridiculous that it should rescind itself. I think that the ref should be suspended for game 6, not Perkins.

    There were 2 calls. The first balk call got Guillen ejected, and the 2nd balk call got Buerhle ejected. After the first one, Buerhle and West were staring and jawing at each other (from a distance), so Guillen ran to West and they were arguing and Guillen got ejected. After the 2nd balk call, Buerhle just tossed his glove to the ground and West immediately ejected him. Buerhle walked towards West but a bunch of his teammates got in his way. In my opinion, the first balk call was absolutely ridiculous. I think that the 2nd one was ok but probably a reach of a call.

    The White Sox announcers ripped Joe West to shreds on air. If a player or manager said those things then they'd clearly be suspended, so I wonder if any of the White Sox announcers will be fined or suspended. I personally think that somebody should take Joe West behind a back alley and choke his f***** a** out.
