  1. Sweet f***ing christ... why is this piece of s*** even on the team? He just killed Parmalee...
  2. Ugghh.... 7-5 Unbelievable.
  3. Not many do. I refuse to watch the FSN broadcasts up here and I rarely if ever listen to the radio crew... they're both chock full of morons.
  4. Pedey now a HR short of the cycle... time to swing for the fences next time up
  5. Our shortstop that couldn't hack it with the Royals is now hitting .339 with 4 HR and 13 RBI...
  6. Aviles!!!! BOOOM!!!
  7. 100%??? :thumbsup::thumbsup:
  8. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good... that last half inning for Buch was one of those times. Hopefully he gets his s*** together going forward cause his luck is going to run out quick if he doesn't
  9. $400K out $6.5 million... Even if he doesn't hit much, it's a great f***ing deal for the Sox. Byrd is a solid defender in CF... Much much better than Repko... And we're paying next to nothing for him
  10. There's a reason why it took so long for him to get in the HOF... guy thinks he's the best at everything he does and constantly talks about himself when he does the games. Half the time he doesn't even know the correct names of opposing players... mixes them up all the time and says s*** that would make John Madden sound like Vin Scully in his prime
  11. http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/story/_/id/7855551/new-york-yankees-michael-pineda-2012-shoulder-injury New York Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda will miss the entire 2012 season due to a right shoulder anterior labral tear. Pineda will have surgery May 1, the Yankees announced Wednesday. It is yet another turn in what has become the puzzling saga of the 23-year-old right-hander the Yankees acquired from Seattle in January in exchange for Jesus Montero, the most highly touted hitting prospect in their farm system. Pineda was 9-10 with a 3.74 ERA for the weak-hitting Mariners in his rookie season, but his effectiveness fell off markedly in the second half of the season, when his ERA rose and his velocity declined after the All-Star break. The Yankees had attributed his second-half decline to fatigue due to his workload -- Pineda threw 171 innings in 2011 -- but after showing up for spring training some 20 pounds overweight, he continued to have problems with his velocity. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings in his final preseason game, having allowed six runs and seven hits to the Phillies on March 30.
  12. Awesome. I could watch it here in Minny on FoxSports North but I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a toothpick than listen to Bert Blyleven call the game.
  13. It shouldn't be the way it works... umps should call consistent zones or go back to the calling little league games. It's ******** that they get away with controlling games as if they're the ones the fans come to the park to see everyday.
  14. At this rate, Beckett will be lucky to get through four innings in this game... f*** he needs to settle down and just throw the ball for strikes
  15. Just got back from the game... got my blood pressure going like always at the end, but happy to have been there to watch them pull out a much needed win. I did just about everything I could to provide as much mojo as possible to the Sox in this one... wore my 04 Championship shirt underneath my #34 Ortiz jersey t-shirt underneath my Nomar #5 jersey. Glad to spend some of what I've built up to right the ship for the time being... Lester was... in a word... Lester. Saw his four run bed s*** inning coming from a mile away. Everytime he starts to cruise he has an inning like that to bring us all back down to earth. That said, he did a great job to lock down when he had to so we could limit the damage and save the pen. The fact that he got himself through 7 innings was huge. Bard came up and was awesome once again in a tough spot. Getting out of the 8th with no runs scored after that f***ed up play by Sweeney gave Carroll a leadoff triple was simply amazing. Aceves made me sweat a bit, but I knew he had it in the bag once he got the second out. Had fun with a crew of Sox fans nearby after the game with a little Dirty Water on my cell phone to serenade the leftover Twins fans... Ross is f***ing awesome. That is all that needs to be said. All in all... a great night. Time for more of the same tomorrow and Wednesday!
  16. I've been saving it up for a while now and will finally get to unleash my mojo by going to the game tonight... time for the Sox to rebound with a beatdown in Minneapolis tonight!
  17. Nothing like adding more drama to a team that's balls deep in it already... Can't wait to see Aceves and Byrd meet up in the clubhouse...
  18. Yep. Not much else to say positive about this game. The festivities were the best part. Sox are now 11-29 dating back to the last September... yep... a .275 winning pct... not good
  19. God I f***ing hate Napoli... that guy kills us every time we play.
  20. Finally... 63 pitches through 2 f***ing innings... unbelievable
  21. Christ... throw strikes, get outs. V should post signs saying that everywhere in the clubhouse. Enough with this namby pamby nibble around the edge s***... you're Jon f***ing Lester... go after hitters and get outs
  22. His problem is that he doesn't have a off switch... or a filter for that matter... the media asks him a question, he responds... for better or often for worse.
