    Dominguez and Jones spent a ton of time in AAA this season. Holliday was sent down to AAA after struggling. Something Marcelo probably needs to do as well!!! Sox didn't have that in their plans. Maybe they should see how other orgs are handling their players?

    What we said was "that's the Red Sox's plan" not that it's what they should do. Nobody said don't get Parades AND Durbin. Red Sox were openly saying that he was going to be on the roster. They weren't saying that he was competing for a spot, which they should have been. Also, I was always under the assumption that they would try not to go over the 2nd CBT threshold. They are right around it now and will try to get underneath it. What's the point in saying "they should go out and have a 400M payroll" when you know the confines Henry puts on the team? I would have rather them spent the Suarez or Gray money on another bat. If they didn't deal Gray, they'd still have another depth starter. Maybe it prevents them from trading for Durbin and they have even more depth pieces.

    Fenway is a DOUBLES PARK and he's hitting a ton of doubles. But you think he'd be doing worse? He has a career OPS of 884 at Fenway. I think he'd be doing pretty good.

    These are two separate issues. I'm saying what is currently happening. You are asking what should be done in some alternate universe. I don't control the Sox. If I did, Breslow wouldn't have been made the CBO to begin with. The Sox are stuck with Breslow for now. If they fire him, they will find NOBODY to replace him with. If he was the 13th pick this time. The next person will be the 25th pick. They will get hung up on over and over again. Even Eddie Romero Jr would likely say no this time.

    His Away stats were higher earlier on this season. Considering that he went on a tear in May, I think the handwringing about Devers should probably chill out a bit. I know we did it about Mookie for a while too.

    Mayer is a FB hitter. Schlitter is a FB pitcher. Let Mayer swing away at that spot or send him to AAA.

    Overhyped? He's been injured every season. The comparison all along has been Brandon Crawford. Seems like he's on track for that TBH.

    His stats are going to be down BECAUSE HE'S PLAYING IN SF. That ballpark is the reason FA's don't want to sign there.

    The local beat writers have said that the Sox are hearing from other orgs expressing interest in Chapman, but the Sox have said no thanks. It's dumb dumb Bob Nightengale who is saying that the Sox are looking to move Chapman. He has zero sources and was saying that they were dealing Chapman last season as well.

    This team wouldn't be able to hit against good pitching. That's what gives the Sox no chance.
