  1. His last post was June 2015 if you search for his username.
  2. I was thinking about a few years AFTER the original purge in 2012. He was around for a bit longer than that until he had a deeply unhinged post about thunder.
  3. Price wasn’t much of a step up at the time and fans prefer continuity over the grass is greener. The Lester decision was mind boggling. Making black and white declarations like “no pitchers over 30” always comes back to haunt you too. It was just an instance of Henry bullying Ben.
  4. All of us at once vs you would kick your ass, son.
  5. That’s my line.
  6. “According to people with an understanding of the arrangement between Epstein and the Red Sox, he was brought back into the fold, at least in part, due to Red Sox ownership privately acknowledging that they have, at times, not given the club the attention it has deserved in recent years as the FSG portfolio has rapidly grown.” No s***.
  7. They signed Price because they realized the mistake they made in letting Lester go. This team has a habit of making dumb decisions based on faulty ownership reasoning and then playing cleanup a year or two later.
  8. I’m not saying how Cora handled the pitchers in 18 or 19 was wrong. Henry’s reaction to 19 was though. I think tearing the whole thing down over 4 years was a horrible way to do it. Instead of a 4-5 year rebuild, it’s now a 6-8.
  9. JBJ had a similar incident too. At least with Price he was standing up for a teammate. IDK. Bad look. Players nowadays have been coddled since tball and any criticism just wilts them.
  10. Crag loves his catchers. I thinks it’s good for pitching development to have high quality catchers in the upper minors. Last year it was Alfaro and Scott. Not a great combo.
  11. They went slow with the starters in April and the team never caught back up. One bad year shouldn’t doom a franchise though considering what we’re looking at now.
  12. When I met YOTN, I was just disappointed he didn’t look like a Star Trek character.
  13. Fred was banned a few years later all on his own.
  14. Maybe he can just advise Henry to get his head out of his ass and then he’ll let Crag do his thing.
  15. No idea. I think it makes the Sox just look worse, which ultimately should be good for the direction of the franchise.
  16. They are minority owners until Peter Angelos dies. How much sway do they have right now? The sale hasn’t even been approved yet.
  17. Burnes said he won’t sign an extension.
  18. Seems like it’s more about FSG in general than Red Sox per the article.
  19. Then why fire Bloom?
  20. Lots of yes men in the FO. Org needs an enema.
  21. Henry hasn’t been embarrassed enough. He’s trying to beat the system by going cheap when 20 other teams are doing just that. In things concerning baseball, he’s a dumbass. Ceiling for this year is only 4th place?!?!? It’s going to be 4 out of 5 last place finishes all on Henry.
  22. If you look at all qualified pitchers from '21-'22, he's 55th percentile. AVERAGE
  23. Waiver Wire? This is ERIC LAUER CENTRAL now!
  24. Did they improve the bottom 20 guys on the 40 man roster from Dec '19 to now? Sure. Did it need to take 4 years? No. Was it partially due to DD guys: Bello/Wikelman/Crawford/Houck/Mata/Murphy/Perales/Walter/Casas/Dalbec/Duran/Rafaela that advanced up the org because Bloom never traded anyone? Yes.
  25. They couldn't pay Lester that contract because he was over 30. Next question!
