    Well... bye, Gee notin, Romy Gonzales, a White Sox reject. Wow, that should whet our appetites for the season to start. I have a word for Breslow.....YOU NEED TO RESIGN AND TAKE UP SOME OTHER LINE OF WORK. You have become nothing more than an errand boy for the front office, no power, no ability to sign anyone of significance, and nothing much to show for your flailing around since you became head of BO. I don't think Sawxheads exists anymore. You have to go to a different site now.

    There is no difference between POBO and CBO. Bloom and Crag just don't have the rizz to trick Henry into spending.

    He's a platoon in LF for Duran? His glove is as good if not better? IDK. Trying to look on the bright side of this FA they also won't sign.

    BA noted, “Boston’s system is a little hitter-heavy at this point.” They have four positional prospects ranked on Baseball America’s Top 100 list. Shortstop Marcelo Mayer is No. 14, center fielder Roman Anthony is No. 21, catcher Kyle Teel is No. 62 and center fielder/shortstop Ceddanne Rafaela is No. 94. It has just four pitchers ranked among its system’s top 20 prospects: righties Wikelman Gonzalez (No. 7), Luis Perales (No. 9), Richard Fitts (No. 11) and Yordanny Monegro (No. 18).

    Snell doesn't make sense. Montgomery makes some sense. I think the Sox are vaguely interested in him, but don't want to spend right now because they don't know how long it will take for their prospects to ripen.

Chirinos Lauer Boyd Keller Velasquez Anderson Turnbull The question is, which of these guys is worse in the rotation than Houck? Where's the cutoff point for just not adding a guy to add a guy? Ryu is interesting. Clevinger seems the only one on that list to be a good bet to beat out Houck for a rotation spot (Kershaw isn't coming here, I'm not high on Lorenzen).

    Sam has done enough PR damage this offseason that nobody will care about Clevinger. The vibes are already in the toilet.

    @SamDykstraMiLB The pre-2022 No. 1 prospect debate was one of the most fun at @MLBPipeline . Now, two of the top three have signed massive extensions. Julio Rodríguez: 12 years, $210 million ($470 million max) Bobby Witt Jr.: 11 years, $288.7 million ($377.7 million max) Adley Rutschman: ? The O's won't extend everyone. Do they go year to year via ARB with all of them? Some of them? Adley is looking at 10/250, right?

    Pitching remains a glaring need for Boston, especially in terms of rotation additions. But Kennedy deferred to Breslow when asking about the likelihood of such moves. “Probably a better question for Brez,” Kennedy said. “I don’t want to predict what sort of shape or form any additions or changes could take. But we’re still going.”

    @ChrisCotillo The Red Sox don't have a finished roster, Sam Kennedy said Monday. “The offseason continues. There’s still a lot of unsigned players and conversations going on. I would anticipate there’s still work to be done.”

    I find it interesting that everyone seems LOW on Teel. If he comes out swinging this Spring, he'll jump up the rankings IMO.
