    I love arguments like this because you can just make up a bunch of stuff an go with it for whatever reason. He's always been a clubhouse leader, but now we can automatically assume he'll just be a pain in the butt! Classic.

    I'd rather have him be a relatively athletic veteran on the bench helping to coach the younger guys than a contract that you are just eating to play somewhere else. I'd rather have an overpriced Story than Romy.

    Yeah, kudos to all these players that are earning these contracts. Mookie ended up kind of underselling himself in the end, but he really set the market for future players.

    I agree with SP jumping Valera up and bumping Dobbins and Bleis down. Soto got a huge bump and I don't know if they should be putting him in front of Gonzales already. Could this be another instance where they get on the hype train of a guy? IDK. Romero is probably a little high for me, but reports are that he's back to a contact approach with power instead of a power first approach. Health is a concern and he needs a full season before I'd have him above Fitts and Early as I value SP prospects highly.

    That's pushing it for traditional TJS return this year. I think they'd be better off just rehabbing.

    If they have to eat too much of he contract in a deal, just make him the UTIL IF for the remainder of the contract.

    Not sure Story has the arm for it. I know his velo is up a little, but I think he's a 2B/SS.

    He said he's going to make a concerted effort in hitting the other way this season. Casas 13% career oppo Papi 17% career oppo AGon 17% oppo in 2011 I think Casas can boost that number a little and be effective.

    He doesn't need to be a lockdown 8th inning guy to be valuable. Having decent relievers for the 6th inning is better than what we've thrown out there the past few seasons.
