  1. Do many teams face 4 different starting rotation injuries at the start of the season like I said? I think it's fair to say that the rotation is the reason they are struggling. You followed up with "well actually they were .500 before the injuries happened" but I just explained it wasn't the case. 🫠 If they didn't have injuries, they'd be above .500 IMO.
  2. Happy Birthday to Sox legends Craig Kimbrell, Bill Barrett, King Brady and Marv Olson.
  3. I don't watch as many Yankees games as you do I guess? 🤔 Not sure what they have to do with the Red Sox being .500 as they have not played each other.
  4. Fire Alex Cora and to offset the cost, make Trevor Story the first player-manager since Pete Rose (first Red Sox since Lou Boudreau).
  5. JBJ's bat was soooo much better than Rafaela's and we had an annual trade JBJ thread.
  6. They weren't long term situations, but they dragged the team down. 🫠 Once Bello and Gio were back in the rotation, Fitts was out. Buehler has missed time. They have not had health luck early on in the rotation. Do other teams typically have 4 different starting rotation pieces hit the IL before the end of May?
  7. It's just Devers right now. That's it. Crochet isn't even a proven commodity TBH.
  8. Firing Fatse would provide minimal return. I don't know of any winning streaks brought on by hitting coaches.
  9. Everyone should listen to the entire podcast and decide if they agree with me or Alex. I think that's only fair.
  10. Gio's missing the start of the year due to a leg issue? Bello missing the start of the season? Fitts being sent to the IL early on. The injuries happened prior to Opening Day. Sean Newcomb wasn't expected to be on the 40 man roster let alone in the starting rotation in the first time through.
  11. He was planning on retiring this year, but Cora convinced him to come back.
  12. How would a new manager change this team? I always thought the Blue Jays played bad baseball under Montoyo and the team (specifically their young stars) underperformed because of him. Turns out, many of those guys were just kind of overrated.
  13. That's the sign of a mediocre team. At least you get pitching or hitting at some points. I guess for Sox fans, mediocrity is bad. Well, it makes for a bad summer.
  14. There was an inundation of JBJ is the greatest CFer "of all time" posts on here whenever he'd make an above average play. This was while he was playing in the same division as Keirmaier who was as good if not better. Even Pillar had years with the Jays where he looked as good as JBJ from what I remember.
  15. Most importantly Raffy: no communication about DH, no communication about potential need to move to 1B
