If I could, I'd put those two mutts in the backseat and drive them to the vet to be PTS. We can tell kimmi that they are playing ball at a nice farm upstate.

@sean_mcadam: Both Chris Young and Pablo Sandoval have reported; that leaves Ortiz and Pedroia as only missing position players. Jeez, trade the midget already. Also, the most annoying part of ST is media calling it "The Fort."

It's not just the media that hates them. Also, ST is boring to the point that any little thing is a big deal. These guys need to fill their columns somehow.

If Hanley played Manny level defense, he would still be out in LF this spring.

Manny was fine in LF. He wasn't a dumpster fire. He didn't look like he was hustling, but he was good enough. He was leagues better than Hanley.

I agree. I want Kelly in the pen. I just think the Sox are going to have him begin the season in the rotation because "potential." I really liked Johnson before he got hurt last year. I'd consider having him start in Pawtucket and see if Owens has developed over the offseason in the meantime.

He is still using the same glove he "borrowed" from Napoli last year. He didn't forget to bring a glove.

A false dilemma if you ask me. DUMBrowski loves the high heat. This is no secret. Wright will be given a shot, but he is realistically 8th on the starting rotation depth chart here (Johnson, Owens and Kelly having a clearer path to getting a spot in the rotation).

Keeping him closer to the action should keep his mind from wandering. He also has spent his whole life fielding grounders at SS, not fly balls. He should be way better.
