    I'm not arguing that the homeplate ump should be completely replaced by a computer. I'm arguing that a computer should take over the balls and strikes calls only. The ump can still call plays at the plate, check swings, foul tips, allow for time to be called, etc. As long as umps continue to miss 13% of their calls, a change should be made. Could you imagine the outrage if the 1b ump missed 13% of the plays at 1b?

    I'll never be as lean as I was in 2002, but that's because I can now afford more than just ramen.

    It's a pretty substantial jump to AA (as we are seeing with Benintendi) so I'd prefer to just leave him at 2b until his bat adjusts. Even then, I'd probably just leave him at 2b for the rest of the season. If they want to move him off of 2b, the offseason is a great time to do it.

    He's great. My vote is still for Papi because his numbers are out of this world and I believe he provides valuable leadership. He's often counseling the younger guys on the bench and they seem to really look up to him.
