    He's been solid. He doesn't have overpowering stuff, but he's still good enough to give you Lackey type production.

    I don't know how anyone could have counted on Buch to be more than a #5 guy. He's always too inconsistent and bot a leader. Masterson, Porcello and Miley are good enough to be in the rotation. If Kelly can't straighten out his pitch location, he needs to be a swing man. If nothing changes by 5/31, my rotation would be: Porcello Masterson Miley Rodriguez Johnson Kelly would be in the pen. I'd sell low on Buch and wish him the best of luck in Chicago with Theo.

    I wouldn't make any drastic changes to the roster until then. It bears watching, but there's no reason to head for the Tobin at the moment.

    He's gone at year end anyway. If he isn't turning it around by Memorial Day, Ben should turn the page.

    To clarify, there may be other better options sitting in Pawtucket for the pitching staff. If Swihart is up, may as well bring up Rodriguez and Barnes. Move Kelly to the pen. Bring up Johnson when next starter hits DL.

    We aren't getting an arm right now. I want them to go as is through May. At that point, if Nava and Craig haven't turned it around, they should move on from them and bring up JBJ and Castillo. For 2016, I want Hanley at 1b and an OF of JBJ, Castillo and Betts. The best hope is for the starting pitching to right itself.
