    They aren't non-tendering him. They don't non-tender replacement level guys. Casas still has a ceiling of a 3 WAR guy in him somewhere. I think they'll hold onto him at least to platoon with Romy. He'll be cheap enough anyway.

    You don't need to be sold on him, but he's producing at AA, which is more than what Valera and Witherspoon have done and has one plus plus pitch.

    My only problem with the yellow is that the hats look like UCLA's. Big time thumbs down. ✌️ I like the green ones. The colors are great. I wish they were a little more daring with the styling of them, but they are pretty good overall.

    Much easier to forecast FA signings. It's fun to talk about even if it's just pretend. We all love baseball and could probably talk endlessly about everything from the uniforms to soft serve ice cream.

    I like Santana better than Naylor. I think adding a veteran presence would be good for the team. Wouldn't be upset about that defense either. His OAA and DRS are 2nd in MLB for 1b. I'd take that all day long considering what we've seen the past few years.

    It's crazy to plan on Casas being healthy after witnessing his career up to this point.

    I have no idea what the plan is at 1b. I have been confused by it for years. With the emphasis on MIF development, they are top heavy at 1b and C. An injury to Casas or Narvaez and the season was going to be in turmoil. They kind of lucked out so far at 1b. I think Toro is heading the wrong direction. 1b may be Romy's best defensive position.

    I'm not sure they are going to move Duran to 1b either. All the talk has been to find someone external or trade from their internal surplus of OF.

    Since '21, Ryan has a better k rate, bb rate, ERA, xFIP, WHIP, xBA, xSLG, whiffs, chase rate. Aside from Keller's better barrel rate and better health, what else has he been better at? I'm not noticing it at first glance.

    Sprague has been good. Bouchard drafted with TJS, has not pitched Tolbert got TJS in March '25 Tygart had a shoulder injury in April and may be out for the year Brooks, Gartrell, Kilander and Hansen have all been underwhelming to say the least. I don't know what to really expect though. Every once in a while, you'll get a Kutter Crawford, but the picks are just a shot in the dark the further you go along. After round 10, the success rate is pretty abysmal even in the Bloom/DD/Ben/Theo days.

    I think his contract is a good deal. I think it potentially decreases his trade value to some teams, especially now that he's swooning in AAA. This is different than my feeling on Bello and Rafaela. I've always said that Bello's deal was fine. I've always said that Rafaela's deal was unnecessary and may be proven wrong.

    This has been my point! The system is very light at that position. After Wong, it's pretty scary. Wong still has an option year available as well.

    Jim Callis has started to announce a few top signings, but no Red Sox yet. I believe they have to sign by the 28th, which is 14 days after the draft.
