    It's a team that is clicking in all facets. We haven't seen this since '21. Pitching and hitting both going well at the same time? Not typical for this org in recent years. We've seen a lot of BAD baseball. It's nice and fun to have GOOD baseball.

    They said they are under the assumption that Anthony graduates prior to AUG. I believe only Witherspoon will crack the top 10 from what they've said. We're not going to see these guys or get a lot of reports until spring, so they may be more conservative with Phillips and Eyanson.

    Need to make room for all the college guys they need to sign.

    It doesn't matter to me and Breslow hasn't mentioned acquiring a backup catcher, so I don't believe he's going to make a move in that area.

    It's certainly not their only need or their highest priority. It's just a simple fix that will make me happy and I won't have to see Wong for a while.

    I think there's a difference between TB and the NL division leaders. The NL is far superior to the AL. The TB offense looked rather putrid to me. Let's see how the arms hold up against some good teams and if the bats can stay hot. I'm not saying it won't happen.

    Schwarber and Eovaldi were one for one deals. You're proposing dealing three prospects for Zac Gallen. Schwarber prior to the trade: 1.6 fWAR, 137 wRC+ (I don't think ANYONE was upset about the trade as long as he was able to come back healthy) Eovaldi prior to the trade: 0.7 fWAR, 57 IP, 8.37 K/9, career low 1.26 bb/9, 4.26 ERA (really had one blow up start on 7/13, but was completely serviceable for what they gave up even if it didn't work out) Gallen is a worse pitcher in '25 than Eovaldi was with TB in '18. If they are giving up one prospect in the teens for him it's no big deal. Cespedes for Gallen? Fine. Paez, Mullins AND Cespedes for Gallen? NO!

    Duran said in an interview that he got along great with Devers, didn't believe anyone had a problem with him, but it was just time to move on after he was traded. "What am I supposed to do? Cry about it?"

    The guys at SP are worried about his hit tool and his platoon issues. We'll see where they end up ranking him.

    If there was a clubhouse issue with Devers, it would have been more likely that you would have heard rumors after he was gone about internal nonsense from players rather than "we're moving on." Players turning the page is just a credit to Cora and says nothing about Devers IMO.

    All college players. The first two SS's taken are most likely not SS's going forward. Maximus Martin, the third SS, also played 2b and CF in college.

    A more realistic and disappointing option for sure. He'd be fine (Jake Peavy-ish), but fans are greedy.

    Mason White is a throwback to a Dan Uggla type 2b. White's 1101 isn't quite as good as Uggla's 1288 in his final year at Memphis (498/790).
