    The rotation definitely needs a leader. Price should help in that regard.

    He was a fatty in SF and fielded the position just fine. I think he struggled so much at the plate that it affected him in the field. I think he'll be better this year, but he still won't produce like it's the 2014 postseason.

    Panda loses weight every offseason and gains it back during the year. There is also no correlation to lower weight and higger performance for him. Some guys need a year to transition to a new league. I hope that's all he needs.

    I'm fine with Taz pitching anywhere 6-8 as needed. Uehara should be the setup guy and Kimbrell should be the closer.

    He started 10 as a platoon DH as Papi was starting slow. Injuries just piled up too quickly on him. my second favorite Sox 3b. (Bill Mueller FTW)

    So the final year of his 3 year extension? Yeah the Sox ate $12M. The Sox would do that in the final year of Sandoval, but not in year 2.

    His second year was 07 when he was an all star. He got the hip issue at the end of 08 (3rd year) and missed the playoffs. He was still the starter in 09. He became the backup in 10, the last year (numero five-oh) of his deal.

    C'mon... The "story" out there is that he's been residing in the Green Monster since 1947 and only appeared in 1997. I don't buy it. What did Yaz know and when did he know it? Was there a monster incubation program existing in left field during the 70's? Don't believe what you read on his wikipedia page...

    Swihart should be C only this year. Give him a full year in the bigs to backup Vazquez and continue his defensive growth. If his defense lags, move him to 3b in 2017 and move Pablo to 1b (if he's still around). Swihart is athletic enough to play any of the corner positions.
