At the very least, you are able to take whatever you dish out. Most former posters on here would attack and then be offended if anyone stood up to them.
And a good feud is always fun to read when the offseason gets boring. I'd like to see a good UN/iortiz thread right about now...
"The problem with Spier's piece is that it suggests a degree of organizational structure that is just short of rampant cross functionality when it fact, the Sox organization has often been plagued by rampant cross functionality and the overstepping of virtually all of those boundaries of which Sprier speaks so eloquently."
Vintage jung. Back in midseason form! I like it!
I think Kimmi is great. She brings a different perspective to the board. I also like that she doesn't back down. I don't always agree with her opinions, but that should be ok.
The name calling that has been flung around here is dumb, but way better than it has in been the past. There really hasn't been any bad personal attacks since the last time someone was banned.
Damnit Cher Bear! You should have gotten a 2 last year!!!
Honestly though, the Panda and Hanley contracts are killing this team right now. Whoever wanted those two (Ben, Larry, Werner, Vlad Dracul) should be thrown into the bay in mid February.
As it stands right now, I believe the pitching rotation will keep the Sox out of the postseason unless ERod/Porcello/Buchholz become a solid #2. This team is better on paper than last uear, but that's not saying much.
As long as we have meaningful games in September, I'll be happy.
