  1. "Ramirez confident First baseman Hanley Ramirez continues to flash his much improved glove. At one point aganst the Cardinals, Ramirez leaped high to spear a line drive. He also stretched far to corral a tough throw from second baseman Brock Holt, who had made a sensational stop in the hole. Ramirez said that his confidence is growing and that compared to last year, when he was learning how to become a left fielder, he is in a much better spot. “No doubt, I think every day is getting better and better and better and better,” Ramirez said. “I feel like everybody is looking at me like, ‘He’s going to make a great play right here.’ That’s what I expect from myself: Get ready, because it’s right here; get ready to dive right here, catch everything.”" CHOO CHOO.. 13. I hope Pedoia is traded.
  14. I hope Papi ends with a 4th ring.
  15. I hope Buch wins the CY.
  16. I hope they do better than that. I would like Farrell and Pablo to surprise everyone this year.
  17. But we traded Lester for Cesedes for Porcello. When you take into account the package we gave up AND THAT THERE WAS NO REASON TO EXTEND HIM BEFORE HIS FIRST K OF THE SEASON, it was an overpay.
  18. Well, 85-89 is where most of us picked them to finish.
  19. @iamjoonlee Travis Shaw has been unreal this spring but: Jackie Bradley Jr. Spring Training ’13: .419/.507/.613 Shaw Spring Training ’16: .419/.455/.677
  20. They werrn't competitive in 2012, 2014 or 2015.
  21. Elias will be the 5th starter on opening day.
  22. If you dump Pablo, it's because you have a viable replacement (Shaw?) or are able to bring back a piece to help somewhere else (Shields?).
  23. All the evidence in the world couldn't cool jung's takes.
  24. I realize this, but none of us really know how much they can afford. It's all just conjecture.
  25. Why overspend at the closer position when you can get a guy for half the price to repeat the same performance?
