    A blockbuster trade with a garbage NL West team will not fix this team. Moving Devers for that would be a waste. The Pads just ripped their whole team, including Shields. You could get Shields for a substantial discount right now. Could probably deal Kelly and Owens straight up for him if you take his entire contract.

    The best sport to watch in person is the NHL. Baseball is the best sport to have on the radio while you are grilling or doing yard work.

    It doesn't change the nature of the game. Changing the nature of the game would be allowing a batter to walk on 3 pitches. Even if the bad calls even out over the long haul, it still makes the games frustrating to watch.

    FWIW, the Stanley Cup Finals had about 4 million viewers.

    FWIW, the highest ranked MLS Finals was had about 2 million viewers. The lowest ranked WS was about 13 million.
