    Don Mattingly can get in after Will Clark, Olerud, Keith Hernandez, McGriff and Delgado get in. Donnie Baseball is one of the most overrated players of my lifetime. If it wasn't for the NY media, no one would remember him. You don't get into the HOF by having 4 good years in a 13 year career.

    Yes, Farrell is at fault for moving JBJ up in the order, but at some point you have to make that call with a guy and see if he can succeed somewhere else in the lineup. There is no chance he was getting to 56 anyway. Farrell is not at fault for Clay. That lies directly in the lap of the FO who decided to not use their brains and picked up Clay's option. What was Farrell supposed to do?

    No, that's is just some new stat... It's irrelevant... I agree. He has a weak bat, but his glove is fantastic. He doesn't have the ceiling of Yadier Molina, but that's ok. I don't expect all my players to wind up in the HOF.
