  1. He was very statuesque at SS. Probably due to excess stiffness caused by roids.
  2. Thanks to Eckstein's 189 GRIT+
  3. Allowing the players to have long hair and beards. Outrageous!
  4. I'll never be as lean as I was in 2002, but that's because I can now afford more than just ramen.
  5. It's a pretty substantial jump to AA (as we are seeing with Benintendi) so I'd prefer to just leave him at 2b until his bat adjusts. Even then, I'd probably just leave him at 2b for the rest of the season. If they want to move him off of 2b, the offseason is a great time to do it.
  6. If they go .500 the rest of the way, they'll wind up with 86 wins and still be in the hunt for the WC. I'm ok with it. As long as they are close in September.
  7. Maybe he'd pitch better if Vazquez was catching him?
  8. He's great. My vote is still for Papi because his numbers are out of this world and I believe he provides valuable leadership. He's often counseling the younger guys on the bench and they seem to really look up to him.
  9. What a wuss! My meighbohood florist has a harder job!!!
  10. Those photos were fine as well. That's what he gets for those god awful shoes.
  11. That's just begging for a temp ban from YOTN.
  12. As a full blown Lebron hater, let me say that the pictures I've seen of Lebron crying on court warm my grinchy heart.
  13. I'll be a hater, but he's definitely not the best ever. He's great, maybe even top 5. Best ever? Nope.
  14. This is correct.
  15. True fans only watch the game in the ballpark eating Cracker Jack or while listening on the radio.
  16. Good thing that MVP voting rarely comes down to numbers.
  17. He's going to break Otis Nixon's record of 6 stolen bases in a game if Swihart is behind the plate.
  18. It's not that he's simply a cheater, he's our cheater. Each team gets to have one. Red Sox: Ortiz Bruins: Marchand Patriots: Brady Celtics: Red
  19. I'm not sure ANYONE thought O'Sullivan was even a depth option in the offseason. The 5th spot in the rotation by committee approach worked. The approach that didn't work was investing in Buchholz and not replacing ERod when he went down.
  20. I'm not sure you can count the Independent League...
  21. I'm not sure it really hides the poorly constructed rotation though. I think that's front and center for every fan.
  22. I wasn't trying to say that Swihart had no value, just that it was diminished while he was injured. If the Sox want to deal him, they could get a better deal if they hold onto him until he's healthy and playing well in AAA.
  23. So basically what the Yanks did in the 90's?
