  1. Cueto also SUCKED in the AL. There's no telling if he'd pitch this well in Boston.
  2. No thanks to Rich Hill.
  3. Trade Pedroia
  4. http://deadspin.com/red-sox-cancel-giveaway-due-to-unacceptable-david-ort-1785041323 I'm blaming SC30 for the design.
  5. You are a monster.
  6. It's for the best. I always tell the truth with minimal snark.
  7. You're welcome everybody!
  8. Nope. People on ignore still have their posts show up. It just has a message that says something like "this poster is on ignore." I think you can go in and change the settings for how many posts show up in one page.
  9. His OPS for that horrible year was still better than 3 years that Heyward has had.
  10. He was 27 when he signed that contract. Let's not pretend that he was being put out to pasture.
  11. JD Drew with a worse bat, but better glove? I'd buy that. Heyward's career OBP is about 35 points less than Drew's and that includes the nightmare 2011 season for JD.
  12. He's probably in the top 25 OFers in the league. I doubt he'd crack a top 20 though.
  13. How many are you including in your "best" list?
  14. Beltran was coming off 4 straight seasons of an OPS over .800. Heyward hasn't been over .800 since 2012. The Cubs paid for his defense AND expected his bat to revert to 2012 levels. His contract just isn't worth it.
  15. Heyward doesn't have the pedigree that Beltran did. C'mon...
  16. This is a lie. I'm only at 26!
  17. Yup. What a disaster!
  18. Jason Heyward is pretty bad IMO. Theo's done a great job though. He should still be the GM here.
  19. Edwin Jackson
  20. http://www.fangraphs.com/library/pitchfx-resources/ Who are you to doubt the Fangraphs Tribune!
  21. Price has a great changeup. It's his fastball that has diminished returns this year and due to location not velocity. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=3184&position=P#pitchvalues
  22. So are wins a meaningless stat or not?
  23. And Wright's numbers are fading fast. He's not a guy you can count on long term. The playoff rotation would be Price (struggled this season has struggled in previous postseasons), Wright (can't deal with moisture and has zero secondary pitches if he loses the feel on his knuckler), Porcello (yay?) and ERod (huge question mark as to what he can bring to the table). That's not a team built to win now. That's a team built to win in the regular season, but not the postseason.
