  1. Yes, he's guaranteed to get paid based on the terms of his contract. Yes, he could be cut without warning.
  2. Jacko has a hit or miss track record when it comes to talent evaluation. However, he has always been as unbiased as possible when it comes to injuries. Yeah, it's annoying that he loves to be the first to post about a Sox injury. Yeah, he probably relishes in our misery if a top player goes down. His track record with respect to player injuries is second to none. He flat out knows what he's talking about. My guess is that the story gets a lot bigger 10 days from now when Price goes back for further evaluation.
  3. The Red Sox could cut him for any reason or for no reason at all. There is no way the CBA has any language that protects a player's roster spot in that manner.
  4. Steve Lyons is the worst.
  5. Beni still swinging well.
  6. Nah, he knows what he's talking about with the medical stuff.
  7. I agree. This just doesn't feel like a short term issue to me.
  8. Maybe he just wasn't that good? His 2013 was a fluke.
  9. https://twitter.com/ScottLauber/status/837776631485718528 Rest and treatment for 7 to 10 days. No surgery.
  10. http://nesn.com/2017/02/nesn-announces-2017-red-sox-spring-training-coverage-plans/ Nope, but there's a game on tomorrow AND Sunday. Woot!
  11. People are speculating that it's a great sign that Price is heading back to ST, rather than going straight to Andrews' office in Pensacola or to MGH. We'll see...
  12. This.
  13. Today, Beni is 4 for 4 with 2 2bs and a HR. Guess we can ignore the early hiccups.

  15. If you could stash him in AAA until he gets over his injury, he'd be an interesting piece. He was decent enough before the injury bug got him again last year. He's just a guy that struggles to stay healthy.
  16. In order of preference, I'd go: Kendrick, Elias, Owens, Johnson, Workman, Kelly I really like Kelly out of the pen. No reason to move him around.
  17. http://www.espn.com/blog/new-york/yankees/post/_/id/95784/is-jacoby-ellsbury-the-yankees-worst-free-agent-signing-ever Yes!
  18. Update not expected until this afternoon. Make sure you all eat a nice lunch and chase it with some pepto.
  19. Heeeey, we got that PMA!
  20. Baby, Please Don't Go (to Dr James Andrews)
  21. Just seems like less of an injury risk than a SP who isn't stretched out or Hanley who is dealing with shoulder soreness.
  22. @jcmccaffrey Jackie Bradley has two homers, Hanley Ramirez has one homer, and Sandoval is 2-for-3 with a double and a single. Sox lead 13-0 in the fourth
  23. The ad on the bottom of the page has been acting really wonky the past few days. Sometimes it just loads over and over and over. The issue is that if I go to respond to a post while the ad is constantly loading, my typing will often be halted midsentence. Is there a fix for this? The only thing I've been able to do is scroll down and x out the ad when I encounter the issue. Anyone else have this issue? The sling ad loads, but one of the other ones seems to just load over and over and over and over making a pain to post on here. I know I'm probably just screaming into the wind on this one.
