  1. Too busy with Jessica Moran. Sad!
  2. 1. Why not feed more criticism towards John Farrell? He stated in December/January that Pablo looked great when he saw him in the offseason. Did Pablo really put on 20lbs in a month or was Farrell fibbing? 2. I can't believe he got injured on a routine play! That never happens in MLB!
  3. I wouldn't want to trade Mookie Betts either.
  4. But only one had a prolonged retirement tour!
  5. Counterpoint http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/COL/2007-schedule-scores.shtml . Prior to their WS title, they were on a complete roll.
  6. It really is a disaster just trying to get to Dodgers Stadium. Then you have to wait to get into the terrible parking lot... It's much easier to get to the Coliseum where the Rams are now playing. If you see people show up in the 2nd Qtr there, then you can complain.
  7. The Yanks went 8-4 the final two weeks of 2014 when dealing with the emotional and physical toll of the Jeter retirement tour. WHY DID SELFISH JETER HAVE TO MAKE IT ALL ABOUT HIMSELF???
  8. Yes, they looked exhausted from worrying about Jessica Moran for a whole season. It really wore them down.
  9. Brock Holt Matt Barnes Bryan Holaday Bryce Brentz
  10. I'd love it. I think Ziegler really wants to be closer to his family though. I admire that.
  11. Instead of the focus being on the game, it was on this off field nonsense.
  12. That Jessica Moran story just took such an emotional and physical toll on this ball club.
  13. Makes as much sense as your theory.
  14. Nationals stadium is accessible by Metro. The only way to feasibly get to Dodgers Stadium is by car. People typically work in relative walking distance to the Nationals Stadium. In LA, it's very spread out and the majority of people don't work anywhere near the stadium.
  15. When I lived in LA, it was nearly impossible to get there before the first pitch if you left right after work. You can rag on them leaving by the 7th (which a lot of fans do everywhere), but showing up late is a traffic issue.
  16. They are replacing Ortiz with Bryce Brentz? I doubt they'd replace him with anything less than a 2 WAR guy, so this would still be a 90 win team.
  17. They had TWO years where they had playoff runs. This doesn't make them some sort of dynasty where you're going to pluck players to get "playoff experience" which most likely doesn't matter anyway.
  18. Also add a #8: Farrell's relationship with Jessica Moran. This caused a lot of stress on the clubhouse and it finally caught up with them in the postseason.
  19. Also "Price is not a number 1" even though he'll be top 3 in CY votes this year... Ok?
  20. Their starters are Price, Porcello, Pomeranz, Wright and Rodriguez. They may move one of those guys out of the rotation, but not 2. There's zero chance they pick up 2 SP's. In the past, when they've actually needed 2 arms, they've only brought in one. They either go with what they got or they use ERod in a trade to bring someone back.
  21. They keep EE and dump Bats. The Rays trade Archer. The O's grab some high power guys on short term contracts. The Yanks make a few panic moves when Gary Sanchez declares that he wants to retire because NYC smells like garbage.
  22. Los Doyers
  23. It IS an advantage. There is nothing from the ALDS that shows it would have helped the Sox win the series though.
  24. Would you go with a 6 man rotation too?
