  1. It always comes back to Cla Meredith... Always.
  2. I think the big difference now is that we had high expectations this year in comparison to 1992 (Butch Hobson and the go go Sox), 2014 (who cares about wins after a WS) and 1966 (last year before modern era of Red Sox).
  3. He was shifted towards LF. Too far of a run for JBJ. I've seen JBJ let balls drop in similar locations before too.
  4. Mike was replaced by Beltre who was replaced by Youk who was replaced by Middlebrooks and it's been a shitshow ever since. Thanks Will!
  5. Workman was optioned back to AAA. Let's see if he starts down there.
  6. He was great last year. I've never said otherwise. When he was hitting opposite field early in the season, I said that was a great sign for him. Now, the writing is on the wall. I'm giving him a chance to turn it around. He's my starting 2B in fantasy FFS.
  7. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/redsox/2017/05/04/could-rafael-devers-red-sox-answer-third-base/4w1x3FlT1R56UPNIY1PrEL/story.html While everyone on here tries to bum me out about Pedroia, I'm just going to daydream about Rafael Devers.
  8. IT has a fractured jaw.
  9. JBJ wouldn't have gotten to that ball if he was positioned where Beni was. No chance.
  10. I was just pointing out that while things are bad now, they have been worse. 2014, 1992 and 1966 were pretty terrible years to be a Sox fan.
  11. Of the previous 5 years, he only started slow once. That was in 2014 when he had a down year.
  12. Having a negative opinion isn't hovering like a buzzard.
  13. He hasn't started a game in forever. He'd have to be streched out first unless you only want him going 3 innings. He was out last year for TJS. It doesn't make sense to just have him start a game for the heck of it.
  14. You think he's healthy or that health hasn't been a concern for him in 2017?
  15. There's a very good chance he can be promoted this year, so it's ok to talk about him here.
  16. I'd bring up Brian Johnson again or try Hector Velazquez.
  17. Complaining about a fill in 5th starter is low hanging fruit. You're right, there are REAL problems that deserve a discussion.
  18. Should have called up Brian Johnson.
  19. Kill me. Thanks Farrell.
  20. Now I need a cold shower...
  21. August call up for Devers! - Speier
  22. Best defensive 3b in org! - Speier
  23. That sweet sweet Devers talk.......
  24. Speier, just say DEVERS!!!!!!!!!
