  1. And when I read through the gamethreads, I see a whole bunch of posters being negative, not just Fred/Pumpsie. There was no reason to single him out IMO. There's a big difference between writing a post that is just like "big win, guess all the negativity wasn't necessary over the past few days" and "(poster's name) is bad." It's easy to address opinions you don't like without having to make the environment here more toxic. To me, it just seems like there's been an uptick of pile ons recently. Gamethreads should be fun, not whatever they are now. Let people boo. Let people cheer. It's part of being a fan. It's all good.
  2. There’s just been a little too much calling out of other posters and moon went out of his way to start some nonsense instead of celebrate a win. Some people are more negative about the Sox. Some people are more positive about the Sox. Every game can’t be a referendum on which side needs to eat crap the next day. Fred/Pumpsie is NOT the only negative poster in the gamethreads, but he gets called out. I believe Hitch said that Fred/Pumpsie is more desperate to prove that he knows more than anyone else. We KNOW that there are other posters on here (at least one) that are far worse. The Sox are playing their best baseball in years. People should try to enjoy it. If another poster really bothers them that much, just put them on ignore.
  3. He’s never been a patient hitter. They tried it in MiLB and it failed. His batting only works when he’s aggressive. He has poor pitch recognition.
  4. That’s 99% of the way there. Wish Remy was around for this call up.
  5. MLB changed it because of woke. 😾
  6. How about we try enjoying a win rather than starting fights with other posters? If your first reaction to the Sox beating the Yankees is to try and make fun of another poster, you’ve probably exceeded your screentime limits for the day.
  7. Abreu is the 2nd best defensive OFer on the Sox. 99% of evaluators would agree with this. Your opinion is unique.
  8. I just saw the other two and figured it fit here. Canadians aren't visiting FL anymore, they may as well visit TS.
  9. If this keeps up, I'm going to assign everyone involved a weekend screening of Le Retour de Martin Guerre.
  10. I was trying to make him sound like Patrick Sandoval.
  11. The ball will definitely jump out if Torres is playing. Lowe is having an absolutely HORRENDOUS season at 2b.
  12. But they had already called David Hamilton up yesterday or whenever.
  13. Justin Wilson DFA any day now... Very over due! 😎
  14. 136 Innings and 30 PO's for Refsnyder vs 804 Innings and 203 PO's for Abreu. Abreu gets to balls more often in his time on the field PO's/Inning and played 6x more innings than Refsnyder.
  15. According to Breslow, Henry has no problem eating salaries. Deal Masa. Don't worry if Casas is ready on Opening Day. Run with Lowe/Hoskins/Casas and figure out which one doesn't work out during the year. Casas starting in AAA of course.
  16. 2024: Wilyer 16 DRS 3rd in all of MLB OFer, but deserves asterisk 24-25: Wilyer 30 DRS 3rd in all of MLB OFer (behind PCA and Varsho), but should be benched
  17. Refsnyder 2 DRS, 0 OAA Abreu 14 DRS, 9 OAA (2nd in MLB for RF in both)
  18. Nothing that jumps out at you. This offseason is just to sign Rhys Hoskins at 1b/DH.
