    It's a good thing our farm is 80/20 pitching/hitting now. The IF backups are Romero/Sogard/Arias. A lot of the DSL guys that have climbed the ranks to AA just can't hit a lick unfortunately (Alcantara, Liendo, De Leon). The Sox's best bet is Godbout, but there's a 50/50 chance Brezzz deals him away before he makes it to BOS.

    He pitched less than 20 innings and got very lucky. Not really that surprising TBH. It's why reliever stats vary wildly year to year. He could come back next season with the same stuff and have an ERA of 8.00 because of the bb rate and bad BABIP luck. Guerrero pitched like Darwinzon Hernandez with a third of the k's (career 14.03 k/9, 7.7 bb/9).

    If Bregman leaves, the Sox will keep Story at SS, move Mayer to 3b and roster share at 2b.

    Cashman has only missed the playoffs 5 times in 28 years. They'd be absolutely braindead to let him go.

    Schwarber is a patient hitter and it could catch on with other players. I think his HR total would suffer at Fenway. Think it's 90% likely he re-signs with PHI.

    Guerrero 2025: 4.15 ERA 5.92 xFIP 6.25 xERA 260 WOBA 386 xWOBA 7.20 BB/9 (426th out of 440 in RP > 10 IP) 188 BABIP (11th out of 440) His AAA numbers were atrocious. If he wasn't on the 40 man roster, he never would have been called up. He was extremely lucky this season and the Sox need to have him get away from the heavy slider usage.

    There were no complaints about Devers's attitude from guys inside the clubhouse. The only people complaining are the FO and people online.
