  1. Mike Stanley Ben Chapman https://www.baseball-reference.com/friv/multifranchise.cgi?level=team&t1=BOS-BOS&t2=NYY-NYY&t3=--&t4=--
  2. And the scouting reports you do have are very organizationally biased.
  3. Rays have no problem dumping guys. They've held onto Keirmaier for a while though. Maybe they really value his CF defense?
  4. Why? He has the same sprint speed as Beni. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/leaderboard/sprint_speed?year=2020&position=&team=BOS&min=10 He's also got a much stronger arm than Beni.
  5. At 3b and then transition to DH. My assumption is that Casas will be at 1b and we should probably leave him there. Honestly, I want to see Devers defense with one more year under Cora. If he flops in 2021 at 3b, then move him off position. LF?
  6. I can't imagine another team giving up a pick for just a 1 year deal. Maybe just a 1 year deal to stay with the Reds?
  7. MLB Trade Rumors says 3/39. They also said 1/8 for Morton. Who the f*** knows at this point?
  8. He's definitely going longer than one year unless some team is going to offer something like 1/35. That's unlikely though since whoever signs him loses a pick.
  9. I'm leaning towards "he's not that good anymore." There's no chance in hell he's getting 6 fWAR in 2021 either.
  10. Yeah, I'd rather have Devers. We know he can hit here and is a lot younger. At worst, Devers becomes a beastly DH as he gets older.
  11. Seems like a good deal to me.
  12. Seems like a good deal to me.
  13. Or that his WHIP went from 1.08 to 1.39? Or that his k rate was his lowest since 2015? Or that his LOB% was his worst since 2016? Or that his ERA- was 111? Or that his barrel% was his highest since it had ever been tracked? But maybe it was because the Rays just went a little overboard with actually trying to win some regular season games? Maybe it had nothing to do with how Morton was actually pitching! Snell didn't pitch 6 innings in any game either. However, Morton's declining metrics leave me to believe he won't be a 6 fWAR pitcher this year.
  14. Yup, a dart board would be just as accurate most times (at least for most of the minor signings).
  15. No clue, but it won't be in Boston. My reference to 128 was in reference to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts_Route_128
  16. He's staying with the Reds IMO.
  17. I think you're expecting a little too much out of Morton. Morton averaged 5.8 innings per start in 2019. He pitched 6 innings in 21 of 33 starts (64%). Morton averaged 4.2 innings per start in 2020. He didn't pitch 6 innings in any start (0%). He had a career year in 2019 as a 36 year old. I don't think he'll be doing that ever again.
  18. It just won't be anywhere near 128.
  19. It's not outrageous, but I bet the Sox could do better getting two arms for that price, especially in this market.
  20. The one great season he had was the last full season he was able to play. He was turning it around last year. The second half of the season he OPS'd 897. That's only 19 points less than "his one great season."
  21. And Springer hasn't even signed yet. I don't believe Morton is worth 15M.
  22. I prefer to use my local nganga.
