  1. Probably needs to start in AAA, but that season doesn't begin until May. If he's hitting well, may as well give him a shot.
  2. It should be Kiké, but I have a suspicion it'll be Verdugo.
  3. Not a whole lot left: Matt Adams DH / 1B Jorge Bonifacio LF Ryan Braun DH / RF Zack Cozart 3B Daniel Descalso 2B Tyler Flowers C Logan Forsythe 2B Maikel Franco 3B Jedd Gyorko 1B / 3B Nick Markakis LF / RF Logan Morrison DH / 1B Yasiel Puig RF Josh Reddick RF Addison Russell 2B / SS Danny Santana CF / 1B Neil Walker 2B Matt Wieters C
  4. The Beni and JBJ wing of the OF trifecta were just marketing. They are fine players, but I'd rather keep Xander and Devers around. Both of them had waning production. Aside from winxdancexrepeat, those two guys are very replaceable.
  5. My Christian name: "most people"
  6. Betts: worth the $$$ JBJ: not worth the $$$ Beni: not a good fit in BOS I only regret losing Betts.
  7. JBJ won't be playing CF for the Brewers either. @Haudricourt Craig Counsell: "Lorenzo Cain is our centerfielder." And he left it at that.
  8. It's only $1M less than what the Sox paid for Kiké, Renfroe and Marwin combined. Sox were better suited to buy in bulk and improve the bottom part of their roster. I'm surprised he got a deal that high considering how long it took to get him signed.
  9. 2/24 wouldn’t be a good signing for the Sox. Too much $$$ IMO.
  10. Source: Jackie Bradley Jr. is heading to the Milwaukee Brewers. Two-year, $24 million deal with a player option after the first year.
  11. He doesn’t have ace upside. Don’t worry about his age or years of control. He’s a good pitcher, but don’t get carried away.
  12. Kyle Lewis is Pablito. Pablito is Kyle Lewis.
  13. Dunn was my favorite non-Sox player when he was around.
  14. It's like raaaaaii-aaainnn, nope just harmoney...
  15. @jcmccaffrey In regards to Dalbec hitting 30 or more homers, no Red Sox rookie has ever hit more than 34, that was Walt Droppo in 1950. Ted Williams hit 31 in his rookie season in 1939 and Nomar Garciaparra hit 30 in 1997. That's it. Just three Red Sox rookies with 30 or more homers. Dalbec hitting 35.
  16. It's why they had to include AGon.
  17. 1. Pedro 2. Lowe/Tek 3. Schilling from AZ 4. Sale 5. Beckett/Lowell 6. OCab 7. Dodger dump
  18. The concern was that his k% would go up and up and he'd never adjust. What if he can adjust and just has real easy power? Fun would be an understatement.
  19. Maybe Bobby Dalbec is Adam Dunn instead of Joey Gallo.
  20. He hit another one to RCF that went even further. The two gifs are almost identical except that there were different pitchers.
  21. When you're a fan of a team who hasn't made the playoffs in 19 years, you end up being a dark cloud on a sunny day.
  22. Dalbec with another 400' RCF HR. https://twitter.com/redsoxstats/status/1367185390755586054
