  1. No way is Leiter falling to 4.
  2. Pseudoscience. Hogwash.
  3. According to Fangraphs: MiLB Options: n/a
  4. ^^^ I understand playing around with service time for a 21 year old blue chipper. Houck is not that.
  5. And Fenway stands as one!
  6. Hmm, doesn't sound true. Was this posted on 4/1?
  7. Them not moving in lockstep refutes the original point.
  8. Those teams would have looked much more competitive in the modern division alignment/wild card scenarios. They were never terrible. They were typically an above average team that wasn't good enough to be in the upper echelon.
  9. But we know what Casas is because people have actually seen him play 1b, unlike Devers. Maybe Devers is a GG LF and we just don't know it yet.
  10. Bigger salaries have NO impact on MiLB salaries. They also aren't the reason that MiLB leagues are folding. They are folding because they are trying to get rid of the anachronistic ownership structure in MiLB and so that all teams fall under the MLB ownership umbrella at some point.
  11. Sox win, plus Yanks and Jays loss = 1st place. Let's go!
  12. There's nothing about this statement that is true.
  13. He's DH or LF. They have a ton of guys that can play 1B. The best defensive 1B they have is also their #1 prospect.
  14. It would be foolish to move Houck down for service time. I don't think he's good enough to get priced out of Boston. He's most likely still a late inning reliever. Keep him up as long as he's productive.
  15. RF is hard because it's huge. Plus, you can misplay a ball down the line and it's a guaranteed little league home run. And sometimes the short wall just swallows you whole.
  16. The last time we've seen emotion close to that was Verdugo's home run saving catch early last season.
  17. Seems like I’m missing a good one.
  18. He was passable as a 5th starter. Unfortunately, they needed him to be a #2 last year.
  19. He’ll be fine down in WOO
  20. @alexspeier Alex Cora on @MLBNetworkRadio says "it looks like [Eduardo Rodriguez] will be a go this week."
  21. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=crawfst01&t=p&post=1 Not to burst your bubble, but he wasn't great in game 4
  22. Say that to the 2014 - 2017 Rays. 97 - 07: pretty sucky 08 - 13: pretty good 14 - 17: below .500 18 - 20: pretty good 21 - on: who knows???
  23. Schwarber is now on COVID IL with Josh Bell, Lester and other Nationals.
  24. My fantasy team will need some new stats if it's going to win this year...
