  1. Always trust the "his bat looks better than ever" stories in ST. 😎
  2. ZiPS has Hamilton tying his career high 1.6 fWAR.
  3. Steamer gives David Hamilton a 82 wRC+ which is HIGHER than his career wRC+ for some reason. I just don't put much stock into the projections.
  4. Best Move: Trading for Contreras instead of signing Alonso for what the O's did. Worst Move: Ignoring the bullpen.
  5. That's the underlying problem with these projections models. It's less about forecasting the future and more about "here's what they did previously."
  6. The O's offense could put up a lot of runs this year with Ward, Gunnar, Alonso, Rutschman, Cowser and a step forward from Mayo or Basallo. The pitching should be decent if unspectacular with Rogers, Bassitt, Baz, Eflin and Bradish. They'll be better than last year. The question is by how much. I think O's get better and Jays get worse. Yanks really depend on the health of Judge and Fried.
  7. I think Cole even coming back as a #3 for half a season is an improvement. I don't see the Yanks missing the postseason, but I'm not really counting on Cole being the ace of the staff going forward. Really depends on Judge and Fried. With expanded playoffs, they are almost assuredly going to be in the playoffs every year.
  8. Those announcers were really terrible. DO can be pretty boring at times, but I'll take his boring national broadcast vibe over a bad broadcast any day.
  9. And for anyone that was vaguely annoyed by the Sox playing Northeastern or thinks ST games are lame, at least you still have the option to watch Sox ST games or not. The Angels are broadcasting ZERO games this ST. Wild. 🤪 Great org over there.
  10. I think it was a statcast issue that got sorted out as the game went on. Lots of SB's today.
  11. Lost two draft picks, lost a middle of the order bat, but got 24M AAV. That's a fair trade? IDK.
  12. Just hike those bad boys up.
  13. Red Sox win. Yankees lose. All is right with the universe for one brief moment in time.
  14. Sox have put up more runs in this inning than the entire Yankees series. Must be playing in the wrong division.
  15. I'd prefer no interleague play.
  16. This game is on the statcast gamefeed for any other sickos out there. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/gamefeed?gamePk=832033&game_date=2/20/2026&date=2/20/2026&sportId=1
  17. Why did the Tigers give Torres a QO. Lead poisoning?
  18. Games good. No games bad.
  19. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/in-limbo-a-post-prospect-look-at-kristian-campbell/
  20. The "poorest" owner is Bob Castellini (Reds) with a net worth of approximately 400M. However, he could sell the Reds valued at reportedly 1.2B if he's worried about players being paid too much. I hope that'd be enough for him to retire on.
  21. My guess is that it's still ST for the Statcast system at JetBlue too.
  22. Red Sox: 4 batters, 4 pitches
  23. I hope that statcast is just off today...
