    IDK what you mean about "just right." All I said was "if other GM's valued him highly, Duran would have been traded" because the Red Sox clearly value him highly. Breslow clearly values him higher than other GM's do.

    That '24 season was real nasty work by Shohei. If he was pitching, it could have been the greatest season of all time. 54 HR's and 38 2B's will always get it done. Rice got to his 400 TB's by leading the league with 15 3B's. Wild.

    A 100 game stretch in '24 is much different than having a good July, right? Like just compare the two seasons: '24 had one month over 800 OPS, '25 had three months over 800 OPS (all over 900).

    Bennett's velo was up to 97.6 this game. This is higher than it has been before. Changeup is his plus pitch.

    Roman is a better OFer and has always profiled that way. No reason to push him to DH to make room for KC.

Lefties pulling the ball in Fenway hit .332 and slugged .624, not only lower than when they went oppo, but also rates that respectively rank 28th and 30th out of 32 ballparks. The article mentions that Duran fell back a bit last year as he increased his pull rate and wasn't playing towards Fenway's strengths. Also notes that his range fell off in '25 and that he struggled against breaking pitches more so than in previous years.
