  1. He did great with mediocre lineups.
  2. In my lifetime, it's Jimy Williams.
  3. Cora is a very good manager. Tito is the GOAT for now. 2018 was the GOAT year, but Tito is the GOAT manager.
  4. Just blame my vertigo.
  5. Editor to be fired.
  6. Well, please don't besmirch Tito by lumping him in with Farrell.
  7. We are all wondering...
  8. Bases loaded with no outs. Zero runs. Good job.
  9. You aren't using data correctly if your hand picked sample works in your favor, but the overall big picture leans a different direction.
  10. Sox bullpen is which of the following movies: Big Trouble in Little China Nothing but Trouble
  11. @IanCundall Since Tanner Houck has moved into the rotation, here are his batters faced per start: 18 (7/22), 15 (7/28), 16 (8/7), 21 (8/12), 18 (8/17). Today, he got pulled at only 58 p. w/the top of the order coming up. Very clear the Red Sox don’t want hitters seeing him for a third time.
  12. So about Andriese...
  13. Robles in. MVP out.
  14. Next time. Maybe.
  15. He's working on it. Maybe.
  16. My bookie is threatening to bust my kneecaps now.
  17. Plawecki needs more AB's.
  18. Odor: 2 for 2 JD/Schwarb: 0 for 4, 4 k's
  19. Forkballs are splitters. Sinkers are more likely to move horizontally than a splitter.
  20. Don't tell anyone I said this, but I have no idea what the difference is between a split finger and a sinker. And are fork balls still a thing?
  21. @alexspeier Since the beginning of July, No. 9 hitters are hitting .275/.338/.443 against Red Sox pitchers. League average No. 9 hitters (non-pitcher variety) are posting a .220/.293/.354 line. Figuring out how to blame this on UZR.
  22. I deleted because my numbers were wrong. The Sox really aren't driving up that pitch count though.
  23. Runs and then a runner thrown out. Good.
