  1. I prefer the extension route as well.
  2. Beagle that Hole will haunt me for the rest of my days.
  3. He's going to opt out. The Sox will then offer QO. He'll decline. Then he'll sign with the Tigers as a MiLB FA with a Spring Training invite.
  4. I would get rid of either Vaz or Plawecki. Replace Vaz with Manny Pina or replace Plawecki with some cheap glove only guy who is just holding a spot for Hernandez or Wong. I'd consider Arroyo to be the UTIL guy and sign Cesar Hernandez to play 2b. Offer QO to ERod. Sign Stroman.
  5. Death to all 8pm games.
  6. Xander Bogaerts.
  7. I now wish I hadn't asked.
  8. Boras will probably advise it, we'll see what happens.
  9. Pedro didn't toss him hard enough.
  10. That was the coffee talking again.
  11. I'm waiting for you to provide the list of the 17 movies between Spikes Back, the last canon Air Bud movie, and Sharp Neuter.
  12. If Jackie Robinson was on 3b with a shift, he'd still against a RHP.
  13. I think they will go over next year. They now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  14. I didn't intentionally leave that part out (especially since the link I provided sorts by defense). And you're still wrong about him being a below average defender. He has bad range, but is solid. He's just not flashy. He gets the job done. If he had a stronger 3b next to him, you wouldn't worry about his defense as much.
  15. The sick and twisted fantasies some of you people have...
  16. Baz hasn't given up more than 2 runs in a start since 5/28 when he was still in AA. He's pretty good.
  17. It's just the most depressing venue to watch a baseball game live or on tv. It has all the charm of the inside of a Sam's Club.
  18. You should have put on the Statcast broadcast on ESPN2.
  19. Yeah, I don't remember NESN showing the Luis Gonzalez walk off over and over again. This is such a weird thing to be upset over. I don't think one play in an ALDS game 1 where they got shutout has the same significance as the Bucky Dent HR, Ortiz sending Hunter into the pen, Tek smashing ARod with his glove, etc.
  20. *inhales Columbian blend* Still not rooting for the owner's checkbook. They can go over whenever they feel like it. Unless...................................... Now that Lebron is part owner, is he pissed off at Paul Pierce getting into the HOF and is still mad at getting beaten up by him when Pierce was in his prime. The call is coming from inside the clubhouse. The owners are actively trying to kill the franchise. Someone needs to shoot Lebron with a silver bullet or blow him up like at the end of Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3 and Jaws 4.
  21. They are also able to cluster outs when you think about it. Is that because they use all their mental strength previously to cluster the hits. Their health/magicka/stamina needs time to recharge?
  22. It's Sale day. It's time to reclaim his title as staff ace. Rays like to k. Sale likes to provide them. Win. Back to Boston tied 1-1 with chance to sweep at Fenway.
  23. Sometimes, you just have to do it for your own sanity. I take everyone off ignore before the start of every year and give them second, third and fourth chances.
  24. How about no?
