In 2008, I was wearing my Sox hat in the Target in Manhattan Beach. A rando was walking behind me and said "do you hear the footsteps?" I looked at him and was just confused. He said "do you the hear the footsteps?" "Uh, what?" "The Yankees, we're coming for you." Shut the f*** up nerd. I dated a girl from Brooklyn in 2003 and not once did anyone say anything about my Sox hat. But move to CA and people won't shut up over it.

The pressure is on the Yanks because they were expected to win the division and are now fighting for their lives in a WC game. The Sox weren't considered viable contenders.
