  1. In hindsight, I'd do that trade again with the same exact prospects if that's what it took.
  2. One will be in AA in April. The other will most likely be in Greenville after OPSing over 1000 in low A. Hamilton could be in BOS this season if it breaks right. He's a speedy MIF and could be a better option to fill in at SS than Arauz. Binelas could be in AA at the end of the season and be in BOS at some point in 2023. It's not like we're talking about 16 year old kids in the DR.
  3. He stopped being able to hit the fastball for some reason. It could continue into 2022.
  4. I can understand the thought process of the trade without necessarily agreeing with it.
  5. Xander and Raffy for Mookie and Price
  6. On 6/3/21: Perez: 58.1 Inn, 3.51 FIP, 8.02 K/9, 2.78 BB/9, 56 GSv2 Richards: 60 Inn, 4.07 FIP, 7.80 K/9, 4.50 BB/9, 52 GSv2 ERod: 52.2 Inn, 3.74 FIP, 9.91 K/9, 2.22 BB/9, 48 GSv2 Eovaldi: 60.2 Inn, 2.36 FIP, 8.60 K/9, 2.08 BB/9, 58 GSv2 Pivetta: 59.2 Inn, 3.27 FIP, 10.26 K/9, 4.22 BB/9, 57 GSv2 I'd say he was the third best starter. He was 3rd in FIP, 4th in Innings, 4th in K/9, 3rd in BB/9, 3rd in Game Score. Eovaldi Pivetta Perez ERod Richards
  7. I try to get along with everyone, unlike you!
  8. Some like the SS Hamilton. Some are saying that Binelas' IF defense sucks and he's being moved to the OF. Most are just glad JBJ's gone.
  9. Wait, I'm in the clique? What the hell?
  10. @CentWisSports Milwaukee Brewers turned problematic outfield situation into possible asset by trading Jackie Bradley Jr. for Hunter Renfroe From what I've seen, Brewers fans are glad to be out from JBJ's contract.
  11. This can't be proven false! Sometimes drunk dialing works though.
  12. @redsoxstats According to the Miami Herald, the Red Sox thought they had a trade done for Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings, but the Marlins sweetened their offer to get him. Very interesting.
  13. @KyleAGlaser Just got it confirmed: As a result of the lockout, there will be no major league portion of the Rule 5 draft. There will still be a minor league Rule 5 draft.
  14. Joc Pederson (self proclaimed King Joctober)
  15. Just nod your head and move along. This will all blow over shortly.
  16. Agree for everything except that last part.
  17. 283 is an obvious outlier due to the shortened season that year. The real question is 267 vs 163. I want to say I'm 50/50 on which one he could do one more time. However, if you look into his stats, he struggled with the heat. Is that an affect of getting older? Maybe. Some players have said in the past that there is a difference between pitching in the NL and pitching in the AL (i.e. fastball vs offspeed league). I'm not sure if that's still the case. I don't really see him hitting 163 this year, but honestly didn't watch any Brewers games last year, so maybe he's really just straight garbage.
  18. It's always just speculation on our part. To me, Bloom has made some really curious decisions. He punted on the 2020 season and wound up getting the #1 prospect for it. He stayed under the luxury tax cap in 2021, made decisions that were often confusing, but it worked out. At this point, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt, at least a little bit. Until the moves start blowing up in his face, it's hard for me to say he doesn't know what he's doing.
  19. Right now, the offseason is an unfinished product. Hard to really rate this move until we know the roster.
  20. Sucking up to whom? It's not like Bloom would read this board. Hard to suck up to someone who doesn't know you exist.
  21. $11M is a lot for some prospects unless you're really really high on one of them.
  22. I think Hunter isn't as good as he was last year and I don't think JBJ is as bad as he was last year. However, I think Hunter is better than JBJ. Do the 2 prospects even it out? Time will tell.
