  1. The problem is that if you start excluding "PED cheaters," how do you really know when to stop. Maybe Rice was on something in 78? Maybe Judge is on something now? The record book is the record book. Without bias, it's hard to parse it out any further than what is already written down.
  2. Verdugo won't even make the difference between the $300M and what the Dodgers actually gave him by the time he's done with the Sox.
  3. They are inscribed daily by a small crew of marmots who feed off of old paper All Star ballots, cracker jack and Moxie.
  4. Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem will be singing the National Anthem tonight for those keeping score at home.
  5. They are contained in a legion of Rawlings Scorebooks held in a vault under Cooperstown.
  6. Pham Devers Bogey Dugie JD Kiké Hosmer Arroyo Wong
  7. Mookie Betts BsR 2021: -1.2 Alex Verdugo BsR 2021: -1.5

  9. This is getting out of hand! Now there are two of them!
  10. Also, David Freese is an abomination that must be destroyed.
  11. Yes, because that is truly how us clutch atheists disprove its existence. Over the long term the performance will surely go back to the mean. Honestly, I can't believe all these clutch believers who just think there are mythical baseball players who can be "clutch" which ONLY means that they play EXCEEDINGLY BETTER than they usually do when it matters the most. Ridiculous! Could you even imagine?!? I nearly spat out my gimlet just now... Tomfoolery of the highest level!
  12. Ah Dear Simpleton, didn't you already know that those players are filtered out long before they get to the big leagues! *insert emoji wearing a top hat and monocle*
  13. 4 Red Sox Legends.
  14. He's hit 24 this year. He hit 23 in 2019 and 2017. It's not THAT fishy. His barrel rate is way up, which is the biggest reason his hard hit % is better. There's no drug available that allows you to barrel a ball better. Barry had drugs to make him stronger, but his now banned elbow pad was what really helped his swing get through the zone consistently.
  15. LOL random, néxt sériés hé'll bé a chokér.
  16. Dwight Evans only hit 13 HR's as a 23 year old! Renfroe has had 5 seasons with 25 or more HR's at age 30. At age 30, Evans only had one! If they replaced Renfroe with Evans, where would the power come from?!?
  17. Eovaldi vs Springs
  18. A win is a win is a win.
  19. If Hunter Renfroe was so good, Google wouldn't want to change his name to Hunter Renfrow every time I typed it in.

  23. His DRS over 600 career innings at SS is really good. If he could do that over the long haul, I'd be more than happy. Dude has a good glove.
  24. I'd rather you leave each other alone.
  25. Somewhere in between a little and the Dodgers/Mets?
