Why do the YANKEES have to keep a tight budget? In what world does that make sense?
Yankees were 3rd in attendance this year. I'm sure they make bank with YES. Why are they counting change in their cushions?
Since we are talking wrestling, if you check the user join date, there is a faction of April 2016 posters. They are never to be trusted fully. Instead of cool Outsiders like Hall and Nash, they are more like the 2001 WCW Invasion of WWF (now WWE).
I like the idea, but not the pitcher himself. Thor just isn't the guy he was with the Mets. I think he'll be overpaid and underperform wherever he winds up next. He is more Derick Lowe than Thor. The doesn't strike anyone out anymore and his velo has dropped off the table.
I'm not trolling, but I think the Yankees need to keep Judge. MLB teams need to have franchise players. The "rooting for laundry" stuff has to go away. There need to be players that just stay put. How gross would it have been to see Bernie, Jeter or Mariano wear a different uni even for a season? Judge just seems like a guy you can build around. That's just me.
We had a Carvel cake in the freezer at my old house when our fridge died. We put it on the front porch for a few hours as it was late November and thought the cake would last a little while. The damn thing stained the s*** out of the concrete and it never came off even after it was power washed. This was in MA not FL obviously.
I can't believe he traded the Grandyman! He gutted the team! If Maybin is the only top prospect that DD dealt from Detroit, that system must have been fine.
The conflicting reports are Sox waterboys Speier/Cotillo saying that Romero just happens to be in DR 3 hours out of his way to have cake with Devers, while the DR source says that Devers camp told him that they've been discussing an extension. Which is more plausible. 3 hour drive for cake or 3 hour drive to talk about a contract at least briefly.
