I don't think A700 is trying to stir the pot here, I think we're all trying to settle the issue and explain where we stand. Maybe come to an agreement about what is allowable? It's not like YOTN is going to log in and make a post about what we can and can't say. At the very least, you're no longer fighting back and forth with Old Red so that's a good start and maybe we can move forward.

They've been had on here going back as long as I can remember. As an example, SBF's frequent use of the term "polyanna" for anyone who believed in a positive outcome that he didn't believe in. It's just a useless argument that nobody can win and only gets people angry. Name calling of players, management, etc. is more than acceptable IMO.

I guess they just looked at a 6 person rotation and divided up the innings. I think Bello gets more innings in the rotation and Paxton would be more likely to miss extended time.

When you look into the lineup, FanGraphs doesn't like the Mariners LF/DH/RP options. Aside from Munoz and Sewald, it is projecting that bullpen to implode I guess? Their projections aren't ever right anyway. Just mine.

The Casas projection: 20HR, 71RBI, 796 OPS, 122 wRC+ That's about Matt Olson 2022 production. That power production seems a little on the low side too.

Tanner Houk pitching 54 innings out of the pen and only getting 0.1 fWAR is a thing... Yeesh...

That's what I'm thinking. Sounds amazing to us, but 4M to him might not be worth it to give up his spring/summer/fall with his kids.

I'd leave the lower wage people out of the criticism. Everyone else is fair game IMO.

Without getting into it, do they think the Mariners are taking a step back this year because they played over their heads or just that the Sox last year really underperformed?

I can see 140 for Sale. I have no clue about Paxton. I haven't even heard about his current condition.

I'm on the record as saying it will happen this year. This is similar to the path that Devers followed. It just entirely depends on him mashing early on. I don't think they should promote him due to injury, but due to him being ready. I've heard that his approach is good enough to work at higher levels, so I think it wouldn't set him back. It's more likely that he finishes this year in POR, but I'm still leaning towards him having a monster year.

For Wacha and Profar, I can see why they want to hold out for the best offer. Andrus has already received a big contract in his career.

He’s made more money than 99.9% of people will make in their lifetimes. Maybe he’s ready to take it easy unless the money is really worthwhile?

Dombrowski had no say in those INTL guys. That's 100% on the scouting department. Aside from Casas and Mata, it's really hard to give him ANY credit for the players left over. The guys in the group were highly unlikely or ineligible to be traded back in 2019.
